I trust I'm not alone on this one.
Utterly brutal games, is there not something satisfying in the gaming world about hacking your enemies into meaty chunks and refurbishing the halls with blood?
Weather this be decapitation, a flush of bullets, or a handy left about tool.
Let the bloody showers commence.

Well if you can tell from the Avatar then you can see that I enjoy cutting people in half.

Hmm well not really, at first it is fun to tear your enemy apart, in a massive blood bath. Take prototype for example, its just that after doing it so much it loses what ever charm, if any it had and it gets old quite quick. In other words, see one guy get his guts splattered all over the nearest wall then you've seen them all.

I think Gears Of War is the most fun for this. Nothing like shotgunning your victim into 10 different pieces all over the floor. Mhmmmmmmm blood.

Tends to seem misdone to me, always overdone, Although I did enjoy playing soccer with the decapitated heads of Locusts in Gears. I enjoy it, but not to the point of addiction, that's reserved for Ragdoll... and Attempting to kill children...

I totally agree. I'd rather see a ragdoll being kicked around in some destructible environment, than enemies being blown to chunks. Which really makes me want to play a game with ragdolls and melee combat. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic did this pretty decently, but that's the only one I can think of

Yes, Ragdoll Physics FTW! I could spend 10-20 minutes at a time throwing people into phone booths, railings, stop signs and the like in Saints Row 2 :).

I disproved any addiction I may have to gore via Dark Sector. Decapitating is fun, but suddenly, it isn't.

But then again, Dark Sector is a game I cannot stand, and am trying to erase from my memory with fire.

Killing Floor does gore better than any other game I can think of. Fallout gore was kinda lame. Decapitating your enemy just isn't as fun as turning them into bloody chunks of brain, skull, and eyeballs.

Oooh, when I saw the thread title I thought it was actual gore, in which case I would've said no
