So August 27th, Bring Me The Horizon announced that they had a new CD to be. "Suicide Season: Cut Up" is the new remix CD to be released November 2, 2009.

From straight off, quite a few people gave negative response to the released single "Football Season Is Over (After The Night Remix)" After being released over Youtube. However being the huge BMTH fan I am excitment still crept up to me. After hearing the remix I was amazed by the new take on the deathcore genre.

Next song that was released, via youtube once more off the offical channel "BMTHOffical" was "Sleep With One Eye Open (Tek One Remix)". To me this sounds like a "Dubstep" take on deathcore. Positive results from myself. It starts with the chorus attended with a piano piece then towards the end a heavy drum beat kicks in. But to balance things out the distort of the song, (which is played through most of its duration) would sound better if the words were louder.

Now the final song I'm going to discuss with you all is "Chelsea Smile(Monkey Method Remix)" this is essentially the origanl track with a trance beat along with an frequent death growl. This is an all rounded good song. However this remix of "Chelsea Smile" will not be featured on the CD. But due to the shortage of songs I thought I would throw it in.

The CD will feature remixes from well known musicians such as Ian Watkins from Lostprophets and Shawn "Clown" Crahan of Slipknot.

In all fairness I think the CD will be a hit among Bring Me The Horizon fans and people open to new music alike. However if your another person lining up to say how shit you find deathcore. You my friend can go get cockslapped by a big 12 inch.

Good review, as it is a short tracklisting you got there, I think it's hard to get a overall impression from like 3 songs. However, when the remix album comes out. I'll be waiting for a kick ass review like this one to get the ball rolling. Also, Ian Watkins. (L)

Eurgh, I've heard all of these songs and they were total ball soup. They should've found more competent producers to remix their stuff.

It's notoriously hard to marry forms of metal and electronica without it sounding cheesy but it can be done.
