The Color Spectrum by The Dear Hunter.

I think it's somewhere around 40 songs long and I love every second of it.

The newest album (the only one off the top of my head, maybe I'll come back later) I have that I love from start to finish is Daisy by Brand New. I just think that band is genius.

Watershed-by Opeth
An excellent mix of heavy metal and soft melodies. The album itself isn't perfect of course, the transition between the songs is a little jarring sometimes, but overall a great album to listen to from start to finish.

Yeah, its a big list. It's all good music with more variety than you think coming from mainly one genre. I challenge anyone hete who hates hip hop to find an album I've listed that they don't love after a listen or too.

I recommend anything by MF DOOM. He wears the mask from Gladiator and raps from the perspective of Doctor Doom combined with a 50s movie style mobster.

Man Anarchist, I feel as though you're 100% correct on everything except maybe AIC's "Black Gives Way To Blue" which besides the the amazing and immortal "A Looking in View", I felt was absolute rubbish and a disgrace to their otherwise perfect discography.

For me personally gotta be:

Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream

Honestly i cannot give this album enough praise it captured the feeling of the youth at the time during america whilst not considered as influential as say Nirvana Nevermind at the time it's a master piece in it's own right :)

There's two that I always think of for this question:
Greenday - Dookie
Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill.

Like 'em or hate 'em, almost their entire albums made it to the radio because of their appeal.
