You guys have to try this.

So far, he's correctly guessed every video game character I've thought of. Even ones from obscure SNES games (Ark from Terranigma being the most impressive).

He even gets 4chan memes.

That was impressive. He got Mai Kawasumi right. But then, on the front page, you can see he his wrong about approx. 2/10th's. Still impressive though.

Edit: I just beat him twice in a row though. It could not make out Commander Shepard or Ayane, but had obviously no trouble with Faith. Of course, the more a character is played, the easier it gets for him to guess it. Fun stuff. I had to add Celine from KuF though.. which sucked...

Edit #2: WTH? He guessed Yahtzee when I was going for Eddie Izzard. Creeeepy...

Edit #3: Feh, it has more wrongs than rights now. I have ceased being impressed.

I was going for Yahtzee.
He guessed Terry Pratchett.
Maybe a journalist doesn't qualify as a writer?

I go for Yahtzee yet again, and he replies with HeatoN, apparently a professional Counterstrike player.

I will keep going for Yahtzee until he gets him.

It took him 14 guesses, more than half of whom he guessed twice, to get Yahtzee.

He got Arthas instead of Lich, close enough I guess

3 tries to get Yahtzee for me

Ok I've got a list to try: Mudkip,Papa Smurf and Sir Schmoopy

Ok mudkip and Papa smurf he got but he said Popeye instead of Sir Schmoopy

Ok this time I got this guy instead of Sir Schmoopy from UNforgotten realms: Bruenor Battlehammer (Forgotten Realms)

well, i did it 6 times and he managed to guess it right twice. i've seen better ones around.

Oh yeah I saw this on /b/ a while ago. Some guy got so angry at it that he decided it would be funny to ddos attack the site of Akinator.

K, out of 5 tries I beat him once. Is that good or bad? I was impressed by it.

Not impressed at all, I beat him 4 times in a row,
(Crash Bandicoot, Tom Araya, Myself(he guessed my shadow), Spyro the Dragon(he wasn't even in the list)) and then he got me on John F Kennedy, but that one was really easy.

Ohh man... This thing creeps me out. I decided to be clever and pick myself. After a few questions he says "Does your character play bass?" then he guessed "your shadow" which is close enough!
