All male Fox News panel freak out over the numbers of women providing the main income in households

I'm a lousy employee, I'm slack and every report I turn in is late. I am an awesome Dad and when I'm home on leave the house runs like a well-oiled machine. My wife is a superstar at work and could end up king of everything. She won't turn laundry inside out or separate colors but she is a top-rate mother. No real point to the statement except 'Fox you are so far way out of touch'

Fertilised eggs are placed in a 'sacky thing' on the male seahorse's stomach by the female. The male then incubates the eggs.

Many bird couples share care duties over their eggs and chicks. By incubating them or by feeding the (incubating eggs, feeding chicks btw).

Although Im from germany, and so I dont really have a word for inneramerican affairs, I think thats some kind of troubling. My family depends on the income of my mother, and I learned that women are highly underpaid, at least here in germany. Sometimes they get 500 euro less, just because, they can get pregnant or something like that, at least that must be fluttering in the heads of old male CEOs.

WIMIN R TAKIN' OUR JOBS WEN DEY SHOOLD BE IN DEH KITCHIN AM I RITE FELLAS! AM I RITE? WE CANT HAVE THEM HAVIN' CAREERS AND JOBS WEN DEY SHOOLD BE MAKIN' US A SANDWICH!

That's pretty much how I interpret this whole thing.
I don't get the backlash.

I love cooking, I'm good at cleaning, and I do alright raising kids (done it before).

I'd be the happiest bell at the ball if my wife made 6 figures and I didn't have to work.

She'd come home and be like "How was your day?" and the answer would always be "Fucking awesome!"

Holy crap threadomancy.

I have half a mind to send them the links on how they have now successfully fertilized an egg using only female cells making men no longer necessary for sperm.
I've got to say that the first time I heard that I was deeply depressed. It still makes me feel... weird. I've got a major chip on my shoulder about this stuff which is removing my ability to think critically about it. I tend to just stick my fingers in my ears and go "Lalalalalalala men and women are the same lalalalala." No matter the fact that 'anything you can do, I can do better; anything you can do, I can do, too." Is entirely correct for fucking anything useful and everything I value. If I'm not even good for reproduction, why don't I just go ahead and kill myself now and free my resources up for a woman? That'd be better for society after all.

I think that far more women need to exercise a bit more empathy around these topics.

So make of that what you will.

Hey at least they're not talking about reproductive rights.
There's nothing that says Faux News better than five old men telling me that birth control shouldn't be covered by health care, but Viagra is 100% a must.
Not trying to take up the mantle of defender when it comes to these 5 pinheads but in regards to your statement, I dont think either one should be covered by tax payer money. If a man or woman respectively came up to me and said "I need your money so I pay for Viagra/Birth Control" I'd laughing so hard for so long I wouldnt even be able to properly tell the person to fuck off.

Fox News is designed to appeal to old white people who long for a return to a idealistic 1950s society that never existed. This doesn't shock me at all
Hopefully in about 15 years or so there would be none of them left.

In many species of monkey the male takes care of of the children after birth. Much in the way of a stay at home father might in humans.
I would say that that says alot about humans if the people who listen Fox were the type to side with evolutionists.

I know this is low hanging fruit, but I must say it after listening to this clown.

"YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, LISA!"

I know, that was cheap.

I apologize, I had no intention of marginalizing men or their issues. I was simply thinking it would be funny to see the reaction of these old fogies reading this with how set in their ways they are.

From my perspective, women and men ARE different, and that is in no way a bad thing, in fact it is great and the world would be quite boring without either one. Rather than trying to force " everyone the same" we should celebrate our differences and keep life interesting encouraging each other to succeed no matter their choice of path in life. There is far more to a persons value than reproduction. That is silly to find that as a determining factor. LOL

And "When you look at biology, look at the natural world, the roles of a male and a female in society, and other animals, the male typically is the dominant role."
I immediately thought of Lions, Praying Mantii, spiders.

Women earning for their households is GREAT. I can't think of any real negatives because let's face it, men can raise children just as well as women, in the same way that women can earn an income.

Even though the mother will always (potentially) have a closer bond with her children (through hormones), the father will still have a close bond (stay-at-home dads), because something biologically will have to stop the dad seeing his children as a food source. He on a primeval-level, wants to ensure his genetic materials survives so it can be inherited again.

It's 100% natural for stay at home dads to exist. If it wasn't, we'd have a lot of fathers eating their own babies when they got peckish.

Watching Usagi Drop the other day reminded me how rewarding being the male carer for a child can be, and shows that when it comes to raising children and earning for your household, gender does not matter at all as long as there is love and dedication there.

Nothing Fox News says surprises me anymore, the best thing to do is simply ignore them. All this discussion and debate only helps put them more in the spotlight.

Agh... sorry, I hate this attitude. The differences between genders (and races, and nationalities, and all the other things) aren't what matter, or make life "not boring". Those, my friend, are the differences between individual people, and they would carry right on being interesting if everyone was the same gender & ethnic group.

While I do stress the importance of differences between individuals, at the same time I do not also discard the differences in gender, nor the physical differences in the brain scans, as this does factor into personality as well.
