Everyone knows the classics for this time of year, all that Wham, Slade and that poxy Chris Rea song.
Christ does it get boring quickly. No, I dont wish it could be Christmas every day. No, they dont know its Christmas at all. And if I had command of the cavalry I'd march thier hooves over your face in a second, not stop them.
Its theory of mine that Christmas songs stopped being produced around 1999.
So here is the point of this thread: Give me some alternative Christmas songs. So long as you can justify it, its in. Go.
Made last year by Tom Smith (Editors) and Andy Burrows (Razorlight), its a christmas album of covers and (from what I can tell) some of thier own work. This is the best song on the album, and probably more true to more people about Christmas than anything else. Enjoy.
