I'm going with an alt account for this because it's pretty embarrassing.

So I've always had this weird thing about going barefoot where I see it as a sort of private thing. I've always been shy about being barefoot in front of people, particularly when I'm otherwise normally dressed. I can't explain it. I always felt weird going to a friend's house and seeing them walking around barefoot because it was as if they were almost naked or something. Then when I went to Australia for 6 months I couldn't believe how common it was for people to walk around barefoot!

As people have said, it is a fairly common fetish. I am a big believer in we are who we are, and there isn't a reason to be ashamed if you have a foot fetish. It is not something I particularly go for, but we are all different and it wouldn't do if we were all the same.

Foot porn (I can't believe that's a thing) grosses me out, but when I see a cute girl who is barefoot I get kind of embarrassed and sometimes aroused (TMI). Even though I'm bi it doesn't really happen with guys. The plot thickens!

Litle-bit. Stores in North America have a "No shirt, no shoes, no service" policy. - probably because of jealous people or body-bashing way back when.

On topic, feet are kinda gross. I had a friend who would constantly take off his shoes for everything and just wave these great feet around in meetings. It was so bloody gross that I stopped being friends after he refused to stop doing it in public places.

I walk around with bare feet at home, but never when anyone else is around except my girlfriend, because feet are icky. Not sexual, but gross. I don't want other people looking at them.
