So, I realize that I am probably extremely late to the game on this, but I just found out while trying to buy a 3.5mm Stereo Male To 2X RCA Female Adapter for 2.29 to get audio from my PS3 to my headphones, that apparently, because it is an Add-on item, it cannot be purchased on its own, but only with a total cart sum of 25 dollars or more.

This, of course, pissed me right the fuck off, and I may or may not have proceeded to ***** about it to every single living thing that would hear me out(Read: Twitter) for all of 5 minutes before deciding to look elsewhere for the adapter. I just don't understand why I don't even have the option to buy the adapter on it's own. This makes no sense to me. They are literally refusing to allow me the option to buy this thing because apparently, it is not cost effective for them to ship such items on their own. And the part that bothers me the most? I heard from Amazon Prime users that when they decided to buy their add-on items in a cart of 25+ dollars, that the add-on items often came in their own packaging anyways, completely separate from the rest of the cart.

I don't know, maybe I am just missing some big detail on how this works, but it seems that plenty of other people are irritated about this too, and I know for sure that if I was an Amazon Prime subscriber, I would have unsubscribed right then and there. I am hesitant to even use Amazon anymore.

So anyways, when you figured out that you couldn't buy Add-on items on their own, did this bother you? How did you react to it, and if it didn't bother you, or you don't use Amazon, then can you think of any other instances in which a service that you liked did something utterly foolish that made you despise them, or at least throw a little temper tantrum for a few minutes?
