Because people find the idea of playing the demented crossbreed of Mirror's Edge, MechWarrior, and Call of Duty to be an interesting prospect mostly.

Plus it also pisses off people on the internet who cannot comprehend that other people might have differing tastes. That's always a plus.

Yes, I'm Titanfall will work perfectly well on my PC, probably better. I'd love to see how many units ship through either platform, will the Xboner pull through, or will it get crushed by the PC base?

grey military shooter with limited environment predetermined jump points and small amount of players all delivered to you on mountain dew box. whats not to like. also giant robots.

because so far that is the only game for the Xbone.

but its not since its also coming for PC.

I don't get it either, and honestly exclusives are about the worst argument for getting a specific console,

but exclusives is the ONLY argument for getting a console to begin with. so it may be a bad argument and exclusives may be a bad thing, but thats at least one thing they got going for them.

Jet packs, giant robots, multi level maps, cool design, and a few rather innovative ideas like when the game ends the losers have to get back to the drop ship while the winners gun down the retreating forces. I can see why some people would like it, and I myself am interested in picking up the 360 version. Limited to 6v6 though...that's a bit of a problem. That might even be a deal breaker for me. I mean come on. The PS4 is getting a port of freaking Planetside 2, Titanfall couldn't even get up to 16v16 on the Xbone? I'd even be happy with just 12v12 or 10v10. 6v6 is good for small matches, but I kinda like mine bigger. Oh yeah, and then there's the fact that it's probably going to be full price 60 dollar retail for multiplayer only. Another deal breaker. Added with the 6v6 cap...that's a nasty combo.

So yeah, people are hyped for it because it looks cool...on the other hand, I can very easily see why you're not interested.

Don't forget that it is an EA game so before the year is out it will likely have 5 different £20 DLC packs containing two maps each. They may even decide to increase the amount of players to 12v12 or something.........If you can afford to pay for the exclusive DLC for it that is.

I wouldn't be surprised to see microtransactions making an appearance at some point either.


OT: Im happy to see that the Xbone is losing this generation. After what Microsoft tried to pull I hope it fails horribly this gen so that others are discouraged from trying to copy them.

Sure, it wasn't EXACTLY like what Titanfall is, but... it's the same sort of thing...
But yeah, the fact that it's multiplayer only, forced onto dedicated servers (For PC version incl.) AND is only 6v6....

Yeah, no... I wasn't buying it to begin with, but with all the hype I just don't get it...

I will get a PS4 after the first price drop, at the moment i see no reason to get one and even less to get boned by an xbone. At the moment i have a system that fully backwards compatible all the way back to spacewar on the PDP-1, has far cheaper games and also has access to almost any media service and any office application, its called a PC.

Well done M$ in getting an exclusive with the most hated software publisher on the planet. Titanfall will no doubt sell very well but i'll take a guess and say just about every part of it will be monetized in some way guranteed to invoke gamer rage. The Xbone might have taken a bit of a poisoned chalice in the long run
