One Piece.

Oda sure knows how to give people a pretty memorable death, Ace died, I cried, then 2 episodes later Whitebeard died and I cried. Also Whitebeards sacrifice made me tear up... and there's the Going Merry's funeral which made me cry...
One piece is my guilty pleasure anime. I usually watch "good" anime like Cowboy Bebop And Samurai Champloo but I love one piece as well.

The Chopper and Robin arks got pretty close. Sad, sad histories.

Complete agreement. It's the whole point of the anime...

...anyone who thinks he is alive is missing the point.

I don't remember if I've ever really shed a tear over an anime although I'm certain I have come close. The endings of both Code Geass and Death Note gave me pause.

Cowboy Bebop. The song "Memory" by the Seatbelts gets me every damn time. I get that distant look in Spike's eyes everytime I here it. Needless to say, it's on my youtube playlist of relaxing/thinking music. Look it up.
Don't need to, I bought the first soundtrack for Cowboy Bebop after finishing it because the Seatbelts have played some of my favorite songs of all time. I was blown away with the way the created a band for one anime and released something like eight albums.

When watching Clannad After Story, i got something in my eye. Several times. And dear god, did that something made my eyes wet...weird, isn't it.
Also, some parts in trigun, Ano Hana and some others were tearjerkers alright, tho nothing beats Clannad After story in my opinion.

I'm 13 episodes into Clannad After Story. Episodes one through eight are good and all but it's been episodes nine through thirteen that have been AMAZING. They haven't been tragic so I haven't outright bawled but I have cried several tears now. Seriously, these episodes have been telling a sublime romance story. I just hope the rest of the show maintains the same level of quality.

Made me cry? Clannad makes everyone and everything cry. Clannad breaks your mind, soul, and emotions into tiny chunks, smashing them repeatedly and brutally until they're nothing but dust, then slowly and painfully reforms that dust back into your mind, soul, and emotions, eventually leaving them whole and better off, but forever branded with the extreme highs and heartbreaking lows of its story. Clannad absolutely breaks you, and it's an amazing experience that you can never forget.

Others I've cried in are Kanon, Steins;Gate, Digimon Tamers, Angel Beats!, and though it's not actually anime, I'm going to stick Avatar: The Last Airbender on the list, because it's the greatest show ever made and made me cry multiple times (and more each time I watch it).

honestly this clannad story i read about...yeah it didnt really phase me at all. i guess im a cold heartless person but it didnt. oh well.

hmmm something that made me cry....harry potter and the deathly hallows part2 in snapes flashback...in part one when dobby dies.. and in goblet of fire when cedrick dies....but only once did any of those make me cry the first time i saw them that is......oh....oh yeah spoiler alert fro those not wanting spoilers

Clannad: After Story came pretty damn close a few times, but i held firm.
I agree, that got me pretty close, but what similar things have happened to me in real life. So Clannad would of had to went a little further to make me feel so sad I cry.

So many moments in the 2003 version of Fullmetal Alchemist. I thought the thing with Nina was more cry-worthy than the funeral. Though They were both really sad. And of course "her" death.

The first Pokemon movie. I was like 6 or something at the time; I was crying when Ash was turned into stone.
This. Only one I can remember and it still gets me all misty (rimshot) when I watch or even think about it.

The ending of episode 8 of Claymore nearly did it for me. That scene was the equivalent of a punch in the gut for me.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Cardcaptor Sakura...

I would like to defend the last one with the fact that I watched the entire 70 episodes and the movies over a week where I was ill. The mocking may now commence. ;)

Never actually cried over one, but the bit when metal sonic sacrifices himself in sonic the movie made me sad when I was young.

Only once to my memory, one manly tear was shed for
Ace and Whitebeard's deaths in One Piece
Other than that I've gotten damn sad or depressed, but not enough to cry out right.

i honestly dont see how people can cry at a film/programme, especially an animated film/programme, im not hating on anyone that has, it just confuses me...
You need to be immersed in a story to believe it, and if you believe it (not for real, but while your reading/watching something), it can affect your emotions.

I'm sorry if that sounded really faggy, but explaining something like that is like trying to explain love to a robot;
part of you is trying to explain what it means to be in love, but without mentioning the sex stuff, so your only able use the words that make you like a complete pussy.
And part of you is waiting for the robot's eyes to go red and for it to beep: "DOES. NOT. COMPUTE!", so you can know when to run.
The point is, it's hard to explain "sensitivity", and also, I think your a robot in disguise.

OT:
Maple Town made me cry. Bobby bear scared me when he was angry.
Just kidding, I don't remember an Anime that made me cry. But the G.I.T.S. S.A.C. 2 theme used to get me watery-eyed every time. And in BLEACH (the manga, fuck the show), when I got to the part where Orihime got in her first fight with a hollow, and she got the crap kicked out of her, I was so scared for her. That issue ended on a cliffhanger (will she survive!?), and until my library got the next book in, I would get depressed just thinking about it. It really wasn't so bad, but she was so lightheart and innocent, and to me, it was fucked up at the time.
