Angels Fall First: The Mod That Time Forgot

If you don't like games like Unreal Tournament 3 or Homeworld 2 you will have never heard of the phenomenal upcoming modification that is Angels Fall First.

Like Black Mesa for Half Life 2, this is one of the most anticipated mods of the year. The full story is on their homepage http://www.affuniverse.com/home/ but the gist is 3 games are being used to create one seamless game. Using UT3, Homeworld 2, and Battlefield 2142 Angels Fall First is the first mod in my opinion to create such a massive universe and connect them so well. In your opinion is AFF a work of pure genius or just another good idea gone bad?

I can't even tell what the mod is from that site. Theres what looks like a ripped off Homeworld screen cap, but other than that no actual video or pictures. I tried going into their gallery but it whined that I needed to enable java script. To look at pictures.

If there's a buzz about it when it launches I'll check it out, but otherwise it seems kinda sketch. Neat swf at the top of the page though.

Yeah I'm not too keen on buying UT3 and BF2142 is ok, but...this looks like it's worth it.

Re-reading, I think the OP may have meant it's taking ideas from these games, and bunching that up, not actually using three different engines.
Man that would just suck up PC resources like a black hole.
