I think people are fretting over it way too much. The indie dev behind it is acclaimed for the Reigns series on mobile (and steam?), which is very much about making difficult yet balanced political decisions with a definite charm and flavour of humour to it. It's cheap and easy to pick up and play if anyone wants a hint at what to possibly expect from this. Jim Sterling even reviewed it positively a whiles ago I think.

Yeah that's not going to go well. Its not an interactive story, let alone a good one. And from the looks of it its not even a walking simulator, just a point and click pop-up book
