They're awesome. And surprisingly non-aggressive. We don't get them here in Australia (at least, I don't think we do. Feel free to correct me on that, but I've never seen them here), but I remember seeing them in New Zealand when my family and I still lived there.
They're so passive, you can actually pet them. First time you pet them, they'd lift up a leg and wave it at you, being like "Oi. Stop poking me." So, of course, you'd do it again. This time they'd raise 2 legs on one side at you.
Repeat until they finally accidentally raise all the legs on one side, and roll over (they wouldn't be hurt in
any way, mind. They get up again almost immediately).
So. Cute.
There is not another bee you can do this to, and still not get stung.
Just for the record, I'm not saying to try it. It was my mum who always did it to show us, just in case me and my siblings (still quite young at this point, about 12+ years ago) did it wrong.
