By watching this anime you were able to gain enough information to be able to tell us that it was a bad seiers and prevent us from wasting our time watching it.

Excellent plan! Now use your ultimate attack!

Hey, somebody has to bite the bullet and watch these things. Sometimes they turn out to be decent, and sometimes they're a special kind of bad, like this one turned out to be. I watched half of it in English for the sake of an accurate review and I still don't think my ears have recovered yet.

The joke it ruined! RUINED, I SAY!!!

I was explaining what you were doing so the audience could understand the complex workings behind it. It's almost as complex as holding a shield at an angle to deflect things.

Thanks for the warning, though. I'll stay away from the dub if I ever watch this. Might be funny to drop this dub on someone, though.

I've seen two episodes (okay, 1 and 2/3 of the second), and grew so disgusted, I've never watched it since. Thank you for confirming that I was right to stop.

Once again, a well-written review. I'm wondering if Konjiki no Gash Bell will be reviewed, as I'd love to hear your opinion on it. I'm curious, how many episodes do you watch before you actually write the review?

I can't say I've watched any Konjiki no Gash Bell, so I can't comment there.

For the sake of accuracy, I make a point of watching all of the material I'm provided before writing my review. In the case of my previous review (Heroic Age Part 1), that was only 13 episodes. In this case, it was 51 episodes.

Shame this anime was so bad, at least the manga was decent enough to have a sequel.

It seems like all they give you is bad to average stuff. I'd like to see them give you something more interesting like Eureka 7 or spice and wolf, which I'm now watching and loving, so you can at least have the chance to herald something as watchable.

in any case another great review, keep 'em coming.

I'll go on record as saying I definitely don't want to be the one to review Eureka 7 - no amount of pretty visuals could ever make up for the immeasurable whine factor of that ass Renton. Fortunately, Spice and Wolf has been licensed for a North American release by Funimation so that may come down the pipe at some point. I don't pick the materials though so I can only offer suppositions at best.

Wth. saw the law of ueki a good while ago (more than a year) so it's no new adition to shonen. also i taught it were a pretty decent show, the superpowers were kinda weird, but in a good way. But i see where you went wrong when watching this show: You saw the dubbed version.. Werry few shows are better dubbed than in the original language. Also the show's not to similar to Naruto or DBZ.. i'dd give it a 6.5/10. ^^ (altough as earlier mentioned; the manga is a tad better than the anime..)

Also to the people that plan to not watch the show due to the review: You shouldn't really ever not watch something just because it got a bad review.

As with all of my reviews, half of the series was watched in English and half of the series was watched in Japanese.

Oh I hope they give you Eureka 7. There's only two things I'm a fanboy about, Tales of Symphonia, the game not the anime, and Eureka 7. Because of that I rarely get to fanboy out on people, I'm looking forward to it *cracks knuckles*.

Also, if you've never seen Spice and wolf, and I'm assuming you haven't because you're an upstanding citizen who never watches unlocalized anime*cough*probably not*cough*(that is if it hasn't already been out in the US for a while, Wikipedia isn't any help), then get ready for something I can easily see you hating. it's just something thats so out there thats it's likely polarizing, like Eureka 7.

Shinji, hands down. half of NGE was him whining about not wanting to do this or being there or some other crap.

To be fair, Shinji had a pretty crappy life :p

But I was asking who he *preferred*.

eureka 7 has whiner and a mute that through much duex ex machina survive everything to be lovers. it honestly has the plot structure of those x-rated porn anime.

I read two or three "law of ueki" manga and then got bored of it. Watched one show and thought it sucked. Now if the manga "Ares" {see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ares_(manhwa)} got turned into a anime, i would probably be interested to watch two or three shows rather than all of it. When transferring the media from print to video usually the interesting factor of the manga gets left behind.
