Animes you would like to see more of

Nothing annoys me more than when a good anime finishes, no, I'm not saying I want good things to be endless, because...then...they just become like Death Note....ANYWAY, I've seen some pretty awesome animes, most of which ended off perfectly and the closure was rewarding, but at least there was a closure, a resolution, a conclusion, there are so many animes that started off something good or great then BAM, just ended just like that, multiple reasons, money, reception, other constraints, either way, its a damn shame and I wish they could be taken up by someone else and continued to be given a GOOD ending, not Love Hina's pathetic attempt at an ending which left you in more confusion than conclusion.

So, out of the animes youve seen, is there any that you think NEED to be continued and given an honourable conclusion, either in a series that ended with intention or in the middle of a series that ended because of issues.

Claymore, Berserk. Those are two that certainly qualify.

Aishiteruze Baby, if only because we never saw whether Yuzuyu's mother would come back for her or not. Annoying because the anime reached a good point in every other way but evidently was holding out that bit for a second series which never came.

Amatsuki and Tokko are two animes that were discontinued just as the plot was gaining momentum for the climax I wish they had and end.

Claymore is the most classic case of "great anime let down by disappointing rushed ending".
I'd love to see more of it...

They'll need an OAV or something to get the anime back on track with where the manga was at, but yes, there needs to be another season.

Are you talking about Seirei no Moribito? Because I thought it had a very decent and conclusive ending.

OT: There's one anime which a doubt many people have heard of called My Dear Marie. It was a pretty fun light-hearted show about a robot girl, but it had only 3 episodes. The last of which explored the robot girl's fears and desires through crazy dreams, and it left you with a deeper understanding and connection with this character... And then the show just ends never to continue ever again.

I know it's never going to happen, but I wish someone would pick this show back up.

Yah, anime was awesome (it was still a well self-contained story, being the adaptation of just one of the novels). In other ones, it's more Chagum as he grows up. Though I honestly wish they'd made Balsa look a little older (her character's supposed to be 40 int she?).

High School of the Dead.

Though, ideally, with less fan service.
If you watched the final credits sequence, you'd've see Asami Nakaoka walk across the photo-board in front of the mall, which was a blatant set up for a second season. *shrug*

Nnnnn, the anime veered away from the manga, though to be fair, I think it'd be quite easy to get it back on track. Though I'd watch it purely for Renge and her high-powered motor.

OT:

Yomigaeru Sora... there was no ending to speak of FFS!
Hourou Musuko could've continued for a full half-year season, but no, those twat producers stopped a damned good piece at 11 eps with a shitty ending (still one of the best animes of recent years, mind)

Such an easy answer: The 12 kingdoms. Such a dang good anime, and they just didn't finish it :(.

Also... I'm a gosh dang sucker for Suzimya Haruhi.

Yeah Guardian of the Spirit ended but there are other books, Guardian of Darkness is the 2nd book and it's about Balsa returning to her home country of Kanbal and dealing with her past.
