That's the problem with the WBC though; you really can't shut them up by any legal means. They will not stop spewing their obscene bullshit, and, while they are incredibly loud, and even more ignorant, the one thing they understand is that they are allowed to spew this shit. Kudos to anonymous for (hopefully) making them think about the direct consequences of their actions (however unlikely that may be). Their representative was very patient with her: I am really impressed.

Seriously, I guess it helped that he was preparing to launch his revenge if the interview went South. Not paying attention to the WBC is the best weapon against it. You know, the remarkable thing about this exchange is it culminates in the members of one speaker's group (Anonymous) committing an illegal act upon the property of the other speaker's group (The Westboro Baptist Church)- and the Anon rep still comes across as the more civil, intelligent, and reasonable human being.

That's really telling. I know some people love to say there's no such thing as bad press, but if the WBC genuinely wants to propagate either itself or its twisted version of the "Word of God", it's doing a truly incompetent job.
