Either there's a hell of a lot of traffic right now or Browsershots is down...
Darn, I wanted to read it.

Shutting down their websites is all well and fine if you're looking for a practical-joke level of annoyance. However, a group like the WBC thrives on pissing people off and they'll just buy up some more domain names and make more websites. Ddos'ing their hate sites won't keep them from being a bunch of clownshoes, it just gives them something else to be asshats about.

I can't be the only person who thinks that the anon rep would have been better served by a coolface image as awesome as batman-shark-lightsaber is.

I found it painful to listen to her. Why when she said you can't shut us up, didnt they mute her?
Notice all the video skips that happen when she's pausing? Sign of editing.
Chances are that was only a fraction of what the host had to put up with.

How come sick, evil people only smile smugly?
Why is this church in America? It sounds like something that belongs in Afghanistan or someplace like that.
that is so racist i can't even find a good metaphor.
people in afghanistan don't believe in the sheepgod, nor jesus.
Actually, it's more Xenophobic than racist, but I suppose that doesn't matter.

He made a comment on the country, not the race.

Anyway, this westboro church representative is so baby-ish that Anonymous did the only thing they could. Show them why they should stop acting out by punishment. Not that they'll understand it or change their ways in any way.

There has to be a way to stop the westboro church. I wish jobs wouldn't hire them based on the fact that they belong to it. Let's see how they do when the majority of them are jobless.
If employers refuse to hire WBC members only because they're members of some personal and fanatical religious sect, then they can rightfully sue for religious discrimination and have even more funding to picket funerals and launch more media stunts. Better t give them low-paying jobs and later fire them for harassing other employees with their beliefs until they have nowhere willing to hire them on an individual basis due to having a bad record.

About the smiling, I remember reading somewhere that natural, spontaneous smiles don't last more than 3 seconds, smiles over that are fake, and should not be trusted (I'm a psychology major, so I'm probably not lying).

I sort of want my 10 minutes back, I've just listened to a zealous faith-blind idiot attempt to be condescending which comes off as painfully ignorant and an anonymous member just wait for 8 of those minutes to take down one of their sites and reject a single accusation. Only two things were resolved in that entire video, and the rest was a women with little to no cognitive reasoning abilities talk to herself and make vain attempts at sarcasm. I'm going to go get tea and try and burn this from my memory.
Save some for me. I was in pain having to listen to that woman talk for so long.

Whether or not that's true, I'm inclined to think that at this point, the WBC has pretty good motivation to quit while it's ahead.
How exactly are they 'ahead'? And when has the WBC ever backed down?

Heh, so anonymous does whatever it can to protect free speech, but as soon as someone starts talking shit to them they "hack" their websites to "show them". Kind of hypocritical, isn't it?

Love it

"Those attacks, wasn't us. THIS attack on the other hand..."
I thought that was the best part of the whole thing.

OT: For once I actually love Anonymous for this, normally I don't agree with everything they do, but this time I can actually get behind them.
