Looks like some 13 year old learned how to use windows movie maker. Not sure Anons would be stupid enough to commit to something this retarded.

so, the same group who is supporting another group expressing their views, is threatening to attack another group for expressing their opinions. Anon is a bunch of fucking hypocrits.

And why target just Fox over this contrived shit? Why not attack other news channels for doing the same thing? oh i'm sorry, i forgot they have opposing political views with the general retarded internet goers.

also, the wall street protesters....not worth defending in all honesty.
Have you even listened to the the Occupy Wall Street? Or do you actually listen to Fox News and buy their biased, misinformed "news"? Fox News have been hypocrites long before Anon have even been around!
yes i know what they stand for and who they are, i do research and i dont watch the news that much. so much for vague assumptions huh? and frankly i dont think the protesters know what the fuck they want honestly.

hiding behinds masks and computerized voices is cowardly.
You want change? Get out and work for it.
You want money? Get out and work for it.
Don't have a job? Get out and FIND ONE.
What about those illegal aliens? They came and found work just fine.
But with them getting chased out again those jobs are open?
Why won't average Americans take them? They either have never heard of the job, the job is to tough, or the job is just to gross.
In short, quit crying at the top of your lungs and use your hands and feet to make America great again.
Do you even have any clue how hard it is to get a job nowadays? Or how little it pays to even support a living? Not everyone is as privileged as some people.
yes it's hard to get a job, but THEY ARE OUT THERE.
yes it may be little but it's better than NO MONEY!

it's about effort and a sense of self responsibility. half the reason the economy is in the shitter isn't just the corporations but regular people makeing poor choices, EVERYONE CONTRIBUTED.
But corporations are just a scapegoat for the most part now a days.

Am I the only one who's grown weary of Anonymous as a whole? Ooooh, they're gonna shut your whatever down, sooooo scary, no one is safe, they're the defenders of free speech...

They're just a bunch of bored hackers. No matter the intentions, illegal is illegal. I'm sure if Dr. King could get people to do things the legal way, they can too.

God I hate Anon.
History fail. One of the major tactics King promoted was Civil Disobedience. He advocated the (peaceful) violation of laws he believed to be unjust. It was a tactic inspired by Ghandi, who willingly broke laws he considered to be wrong, admitted to breaking the law in court, but said he did so because the laws themselves were evil.

Laws are not magically good just because they are laws. Laws can be written by evil or stupid people, and therefore can be evil or stupid themselves. Therefore, breaking the law is not an inherently immoral act.
those laws weren't damaging to property and were for equality instead of infringing on OTHERS freedom of speech like the hypocrites they are. also taking down another's website is a federal offense.
Personally, I think the problem here is that there is no law prohibiting a news organization from deliberately lying to the public for political purposes. You can truthfully call someone out as a fraud and get convicted of libel for it, yet a news channel lying to swing an election towards one party is fine. This, in my opinion, is an abomination, is antidemocratic, and needs to change.
probably because all new sources do it. and their ARE laws against it, and they get sued all the time for libel and slander. mostly tabloids and news papers, but if its an OPINION, something they are allowed to say, you can't do anything about it.

That would be Alan Moore mister Tito. Not Frank Miller. At least Moore never went insane and tried to make a shitty sequel to his magnum opus.
No, he went insane and wrote some kind of erotic fanfiction about 13 year old girls from fairytales.
Yeah, humans definitely don't have any erotic experiences until they're 18. Moore is a weird pervert and his work should be totally disregarded because he ever suggested otherwise.
...did you just defend child porn? You're defending child porn. You also pretty much just said "don't act like kids aren't unbelievably sexy", which only makes it creepier.
in his defense, its artwork of fictional characters haveing sexual acts, not actual child porn.

I love it when people think taking down a website is equivalent to hacking the Pentagon.
If the general audience believes that's the case... (I.E. the majority of people who aren't computer-savy enough to understand what's going on)

Just saying. Its kinda a symbolism thing.

Now if Anonymous found a way to intercept the fox news signal to implant an anonymous message... Then I would see this as more than symbolism. :p

"Frank Miller's" V For Vendetta?

.........Really? Why don't you try looking that up again, Greg. Two seconds of internet research, Escapist. That's all I ask. Please give credit where credit is due.
As soon as I read that, I thought, 'my God, the internet is about to explode.'

WRONG

Alan Moore is the writer your thinking of.

Frank Miller wrote Batman and Sin City.
Frank Miller did not write Batman. I...I don't even know where to start.

The date chosen for this attack? November 5th, also known as Guy Fawkes Day.
... more commonly known as Bonfire Night.

And to be fair, the Occupy Wall Street guys deserve a little mud slung their way. Never anything more ironic than a group of people setting out to fix an economy by not working for a month. Hell, that kid working at a petrol station for next to nothing is doing more good than 50 of those 'protesters'.

*sigh* Never thought I'd be supporting the big evil corporation over the unwashed masses and cave-dwelling nerds. I must be getting older.

Remember people Fox cancelled Firefly.

But truth is i wish them the best of luck as long as they dont effect the Simpsons and Family Guy. The shows may be past they're peak but i still enjoy them.

Fox the channel =/= Fox News. Biased conservative reporters and TV personalities don't cancel shows.

Hate speech is not freedom of speech.

Good riddance if FOX News dies as a result of this. They've been nothing but a right-wing propaganda machine since the start, ruining everything for us honest citizens. "Unbiased" indeed. Those motherfuckers need to be taught a lesson in humility.

In short, quit crying at the top of your lungs and use your hands and feet to make America great again.

I applied for 30 jobs over the summer and was declined from each one either because they already had someone in mind or an older person applied around the same time. The only reason I GOT a job for the summer was because I got my sister to ask my manager if I could work there while she was on extended vacation. (I have good work ethic mind you too, I'm not some lazy punk-ass. They actually wanted me to stay even though I was in school)

Its impossible to live off of minimum wage without some kind of financial aid unless you live in some of the highest crime-rate areas in town, never EVER get sick/injured, and live off of more or less rice, beans, and ramen. Minimum wage is all the majority of places offer so you need to work at at least two jobs to live semi-comfortably. (Which is even harder if you are in school, highschool or college if you don't have scholarships.)

I don't see how hiding behind a mask and computer voice is more cowardly than hiding behind a military... Ohh wait don't we Americans do that?

I'd also like to point out that no amount of hands and feet will help America as it was the overabundance of overpaid construction/agricultural-based jobs that helped put us into this recession. To top that with icing, what you are suggesting (or at least how I see it) is reverting back to a time when employers could work you to the bone in inhumane conditions where you were more likely to get hurt/die on the job than you would be if you didn't have a job in the first place.

Illegal Aliens aren't getting chased out. We're trying to but really its a losing battle. If anything, America needs those illegal immigrants working in 1950s conditions because without them doing cheap-ass labor, agriculture wouldn't have the money to afford R&D into better product/production, and, for instance, strawberries would cost at least triple what we pay now if they had to pay minimum wage to all those workers.

I am usually very supportive of Anonymous, but this just seems petty. I hate fox news as much as the next guy on the internet. But, attacking them for name calling? This is a job for John Stewart or Bill Maher, to make snide comments. Not for anonymous to get all up in arms.

They started this campaign because fox news was using slanderous names to portray the protestors, that's wrong
