It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.
just a guess, but disease?
EDIT: or death, i guess that makes sense too
good guesses...but no.
since when does disease hide in holes?
...you are darkness.

what walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at midday, and three legs in the afternoon?
Man.
A man lies dead in the middle of a field. No creature living or dead is nearby. The man has a package with him. How did he die?
you forgot to mention that he has a ring in his hand. i know that riddle.

Nothing. Am I right?

I make you weak at the worst of all times,
I keep you safe, I keep you fine.
I make your hands sweat, and your heart go cold,
I visit the weak, but seldom the bold.
What am I?

Yeah, fear.

A logician goes into a town with two barbers, and visits each shop in turn. He sees the first barber, who has terrible hair, and is haggard and unshaven. He then visits the next shop to see a clean cut, tightly cropped hairstyle on a young man. Seeing this he returns to the first shop.
Why?

oh! i know this one! he goes to the haggard barber because the only way he(the haggard barger) could get a haircut is by going to the other barber. since the other barber went to the haggard barber for a haircut, he is clean. couple the two clues together, and you get that you wanna go to the barber who looks like crap.

I think all the riddles have been answered so I'll just write one of my own.

Three men go out on a boat to a spot where there is nothing but open water to the horizon. The boat capsizes and they all sink then die but not a single man drowned. How is this possible?

On topic, can anyone answer me this;

Why is a Raven like a Writing Desk?

I know the answer, but I want to see if anyone else does.

I haven't the slightest idea ;)
