If you could cast any actor for any role in anything, then who, what, where and why would it be?
Personally I'd cast Johnny Depp as Mammon from Spawn. He'd hopefully be able to do the same sort of arrogance that Mammon has. If not that then Ian McKellan as the voice of an epic dragon from something.

Clint Eastwood in anything. He'll automatically be the best actor in any movie he's in.

Bruce Campbell as crisis Batman. Because he's mf'ing BRUCE CAMPBELL! He was born to play Batman but now he's too old to fill the role of an evolving dark knight in the latest generation of batman movies.

I want Nathan Fillion to be Nate Drake because he is smoking hot and Nate was based off him anyway.

Adam Sandler in a bunch of different comedies that have him in some sort of hi jinks. Since that's what he does best.

Chuck Norris playing Alex Mercer. Except Chuck Norris might be a little too strong to play the role.

John Malkovich as Lex Luthor. Because, I dunno. They're both bald and awesome.
I actually thought Kevin Spacey did an awesome job as lex, hope he returns if they make another superman movie.
I find my self in agreement. John Malkovich can pull of squirrelly and strange, not so much loud homicidal genius.

Well give him a jetpack to wear and a bear to stare down with some mystic music playing in the background and you wouldn't think that anymore.

As an aside: I know I have seen that avatar before and I keep confusing you with the other person(s) who also have it.

It's coming in 2011. I cried, you will probably laugh and do some kind of victory dance. Everybody wins.

Clive Owen as James Bond, because that's how it should have panned out. A pox on thee Craig! A pox!

haha, no dance here. The first movie was lacking but its always nice to give them a second chance.

Oh boy as for the james bond thing, youre wrong.
Personally I thought Spacey was channeling far to much Gene Hackman, but I'll guess I'll have to join you and give him another chance.

As for Bond your both wrong. Obviously the best Bond would easily be David Tennant :p

Oh really? You think Craig was perfect for the part?

I think if Owen could do a good English accent and actually shave for once in his life, he'd be fit for it.

I hated Craig as bond at first, but warmed up to him. But I still think others could do a better job (not as good a job as Brosnan, but still).

And for the Superman thing, I liked the film, but in retrospect they gave him a f*cking child!. There's word of a reboot though.

Ill be honest i was one of the skeptics for craig as bond, but then again i didnt like any of the other choices either. After casino royale though and knowing it was a retooling of the series im all for it. I love the grit and the fact that bond grew some balls. I loved Brosnan because he was the epitome of the Bond charm and class but in the end it fell victim to camp.
Spot on. I think Craig comes a lot closer to the Bond in the actual books (at least the closest its ever come).

Rob Schneider as Shinji Ikari.

Rob Schneider was just an ordinary boy in a post second impact Japan. Then one day, there was an angel attack in Tokyo-3, and Rob Schneider finds out piloting Eva isn't quite as stable as he was hoping for.

Also, try Arnold as Shinji. Just imagine him saying "I mustn't run away."

Hell, casting most actors as anyone from Evangelion is instant hilarity.

I made a thread for what I just did, though:http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.112428#1999252

Sean Connery as any badass action hero ever. Or Zorro. A scottish Zorro would be epic.

As for superman a reboot? I thought this recent one was a reboot?
Apparently the story was FUBAR on the last one (I imagine the child was the biggest problem there), so they might reboot it completely and not go apeshit on it this time.

As for Bond, don't get me wrong, once I realised that they were starting from the beginning, Craig was suitable. Bond wasn't a charming Nancy boy to begin with, he was gritty and chauvinistic, with scars and whatnot (in the books). I just thought that Owen could have pulled it off better. But I guess I've just got a man-crush on Owen, so what can I say?

Also I think Brosnan was perfect as Bond, but considering the era those films were made, you couldn't really get another Brosnan. I guess that goes for just about every generation of bond that have come and gone.
