Don't go for the cheap stuff? Alright then, I think I'll look for some of these brands. Thanks for the suggestions!
I was completely kidding about the Thunderbird. Do not drink Thunderbird. You will die.

Vodka, and Juice is cheap, although my favourite cocktail is gin, and tonic. Also craft beer is the shit.

If you're looking for something sweet, ciders are probably your best bet. International brands are usually better than USA/CAN domestics.

There's a Swedish (I think?) brand called Rekorderlig that's quite sweet but very tasty. Their berry cider has a nice tang to it, but the Elderflower is my favourite, it's sort of a perfumy kind of sweet that's quite different from anything else I've tried. Drink Rekorderligs slow though, they're like 7% tallboys.

Anything English or Irish is good too for ciders; Magner's and Strongbow are two solid brands that are middling in dryness and price. There's sometimes good local brands too if you live in an area with breweries (I'm from Ontario, they're everywhere), so keep an eye out.

No alcohol tastes good to me. The alcohol masks any remote semblance of what once may have been flavour, instead covering it with bland but sharply unpleasant sensation that lingers for far too long. I've tried various different drinks over the years thinking that maybe I might acquire the taste for it that I seemingly lack, but they all taste the same and they all taste bad.

I will never understand the apparently prevalent desire among the population to consume it to the point that they will spoil other perfectly good drinks by mixing it with them. I feel like I am tasting something that others are not, otherwise drinking would very swiftly cease to be.

I'm told by some that it's mostly a social thing, or for the effects of the drug, neither of which seem terribly appealing by themselves, never mind in the face of the abhorrent liquid befouling my mouth. I feel that I would rather spend an evening soberly and methodically causing myself mild physical pain than I would drinking.

Cider
Pink Moscato

Those two are really great choices.

All alcoholic drinks are going to taste of alcohol. The only difference is whether the alcohol goes with and improves the flavor to make something great, or conflict and feel cheap and washed out.

I've always found it a little strange people drinking stuff they don't like the taste of.
Drink what tastes good to you, not what your peers or your friends pressure you to drink.
