So, I've been asked a question recently about how to improve the technology at a banking company. The concept would start a project that, when after a few months, should be able to be presented to the CTO (Chief Technology Officer). It's a very simple resolution, I know, but it's also rather difficult. I haven't had many good ideas for the past week and I'm kind of wondering if anyone has a good ideas about improving the banking experience they would like to share. It could apply to outside (random people) or inside (employees) customers.

For me, I sort of was inspired by the idea of bumping information through android phones. Just have an app that would send a check to someone else's account. Let's imagine a situation like a friend spotting you for money on lunch, because I guess the restaurant takes cash only, and then paying them back almost immediately.

My bank(Chase) has that something similar to that already in Chase QuickPay, and the ability to cash checks using their smartphone app(If you want to see an example). Honestly neither are features that I value particularly much. I will try and chime in some ideas later, I need to think about this.
