I give Steve Jobs credit for being confident in his products, but i think he is a little full of himself. I never owned an apple product because my cell phone does everything that i need it to do. My computer never had any problems with flash.

I hope the Droid absolutely destroys the iPhone completely. If there is one company with almost as much brand recognition as Apple, it is Google.

"Lazy developers", eh? My computer has never ever crashed because of Flash apps or videos or anything. But that may be because i run Windows XP, and Adobe is obviously on Microsoft's payroll, the bastards!

Dude trust me, Flash is by far the largest cause of browser crashes on Mac. It also uses ludicrous amounts of CPU compared to the Windows version (esp. when playing video). Apparently the Linux plugin is worse. Anyway, as someone who regularly uses most of Adobe's CS4 on Mac and PC, I have to say every one of those apps is full of bloat.

Its no surprise Apple don't want that kind of thing inflicted on their mobile devices, which only really maintain the illusion of being fast/responsive due to reasonably efficient coding, and a lot of smart design. Apple can be accused of a lot of things, but lazy/bloated coding on their native platforms is not one of them (their Windows apps, on the other hand... hmm).

Yeah I have an iPod, but I'm never buying another one. There are a bunch of mp3 players developed by other companies that are just as high quality, for about an average for $50 cheaper. Apple expects you to pay more for their stuff because its Apple. Not because any of this shit is actually more expensive.
