My first relationship ended wow wait.....three.....ish months ago. I ended it because I moved to Hawaii and had been living in New Jersey. It was long distance but not nearly that much and we'd go a long while without a chance to see each other so I didn't think it was fair to either one of us. We're still friends and she's actually dating someone else now but, I have yet to find someone new. Hell I've barley even made any friends since coming to Hawaii in early April.

Nah, not at the moment. My last serious relationship lasted about six years and it ended about two years ago. I'm in no hurry to get into another. My last short-term "fling" ended badly when she decided she wanted more than just a fling and was not happy that I didn't want the same.

Yes I'm in a relationship. Have been for over a month.

Though given how hilarious some of the single people are on this thread, I'd be willing to date some of them.

Aww, that's cute. Congratulations!

I've been seeing someone for a few months, but I'm still on the fence concerning how serious we are. Happy about it though.

And man, this thread is like the best pick-me-up. There's so much love and happiness here! *squee*

Yup. In fact I'm in bed with her right now, with her snuggled around my leg in her sleep after looking after my potentially dislocated ankle.

Change your personality.
To be fair, personalities tend not change. You are who you are, unless you get some sort of brain injury.

OT: Been single for about 3-4 years now, naturally i would prefer that to change, but that's how i am at the moment. I just walk through life and see what happens, try to take any opportunities which arise, try to make life as enjoyable as possible for myself and if i acquire a girlfriend along the way then great.

You can get rid of the traits that turn women off. To be fair, his core personality seems a-okay. It's just the fatalism, hostility and narcissism that probably repel the ladies.

I met my boyfriend of two years on World of Warcraft, he was my guild leader back then.
We've been living together for about a year and a half.
I dont think either of us could be with a non-gamer.

Still devastated, no idea how to get back in the game.
Much the same way...

So, no... and I think it will stay that way for a while, since I'm not looking to be in a relationship at the moment and even if I was, I have a rather warped idea of the 'perfect partnership'. My last meaningful relationship was defined by mutual sadness more than anything else. More than two years on, I still see all relationships that way.

Hiya Escapists! [WARNING, MAY CONTAIN LARGE AMOUNTS OF HAPPY]
I am in a relationship for a week this day, and it's the best thing that's ever happened to me! I know it seems short, but my girl is a keeper for sure! I am constantly happy around her/when thinking about her, and I cannot believe I missed out on this "relationship"thing for so long.

/happy
Anyway,Do you have a current partner? It doesn't have to be that serious yet, (I mean, I am in one for a week) But it has to be defined as relationship. Going steady. F*ckbuddies married.
*EDIT aw crap, the poll went away. How do I fix this?
No Poll then.
Never have been in one, probably never will be. I envy you :3. Hope it works out well for you, don't take it for granted ,ever. Because if you do I will find you and hit you with a bat. :p

Yup, for about two and a quarter years. Everything's going fantastic, we're currently saving up for our own place.

Congratulations on your own relationship monkey_man, hope everything goes well for you

i recently had a fuckbuddy retationship with this one girl, but her boyfriend came home from vacation and so we haven't spoken since. personaly (since this is a forum on the internet therefor personal :p) i've come to the conclusion that i simply will never know true love, only lust. if this changes, i will not know untill it happens, so i keep an open mind to the issue. untill then i have a stink eye that scares dogs and makes small children cry, so i suppose it's a trade off.

Nope.

I get interested in someone, but lose interest before I even try. I'd love to be in a relationship, because I'm actually happy when I'm in one and not just okay, but... eh, I dunno. New job's not gonna help, what with being on-call 24/7 and all, but oh well. All that's left is to Charlie Mike.

Yes, for a month yesterday. Unfortunately it is the exam period so I haven't seen her as much as I would've wanted to. On the plus side, we both have our final exams tomorrow and shall be going out to see a movie. Any reccomendations?

I wish, a boyfriend would really push me right out of depression right now.

My parent's don't even know that I'm bi yet, though, so it's a pretty unlikely scenario at this point.
