Artist Remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is Totally Tubular, Dude

Radical, Gnarly, and Bodacious!

The turtles have had some trials and tribulations over the last few years, but it's their time to shine again thanks to artist AlexRedfish [http://alexredfish.deviantart.com/]. Alex's vision leaves no room for anything less than stellar representations of the teenage humans-turned-reptiles-turned-ninjas.

These turtles have a job to do and they're not messing around. With his tablet and massive amounts of gear, Donatello is ready to navigate his buds and himself out of any tricky situations. Raphael's bloody brass knuckles (and smoking cigar) and Leonardo's stoic, samurai-esque stance suggest that anyone who crosses these turtles is cruisin' for a bruisin'. However it's Michelangelo's job that I truly envy: furiously devouring pizza. It's a tough life, but someone has to do it.

Turn on the heaviest Metal you can find and flip through the gallery below to see all the turtles in their animated glory.

Check out the rest of Alex's awesome work on his DeviantArt page [http://alexredfish.deviantart.com/], and let us know which turtle's redesign you think is the most hardcore.

Ok, so maybe I'm nit-picking here, but maybe a little research before writing was in order. The TMNT were never human, as the statement "humans-turned-reptiles-turned-ninjas" implies. They were turtles, just turtles, that were exposed to chemicals, which made them bi-pedal and intelligent. Wouldn't have taken more research than to read the first comic or to look it up online....but again, maybe I'm being too critical.

Did something happened to Casey Jones for Ralp to become a hybrid of himself and the weapons and mask Casey worn?

Overall it pretty neat althought their faces look too serious even the comdical Mikey but I suppose I take their faces over Bay version.

I'm with you on that one: that error really annoyed me for some reason.

Those pictures are awesome (wish the turtles in the recent movie had looked like that), and I love that they're animated. And I could totally see Raph as a cigar smoker. ^_^
