As of right now, could you trust .... to use your PC?

Wouldn't matter. As long as they don't seriously comb through my history, there's nothing really all that objectionable, although I have read a few mildly inappropriate Cracked articles.

1. Absolutely not.
2. I don't have one.
3. Most certainly.
4. My dad doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom, there's no way I'm letting him near my computer.

I let my sister use it once in awhile but I prefer if nobody does. Mainly because I don't want people changing things.

Everything valuable is on a 5 times 256bit encrypted and removable custom USB drive (with separate passwords for each of the five encryptions), and I have backups that go back to last year, which also back up the USB drive.
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes

I've got absolutely nothing on here that's inappropriate (I know that's hard to believe, but it actually IS true). So, as long as they couldn't do things like log into my facebook or my banking and screw around with things, I don't see the problem.

That being said...I just innately don't like it when people use my computer. There's no REAL logical reason for it. It just...irks me.

No one

My family and similar relations because of, well, porn. There's none on the hard drive and nothing even remotely bad, but still.

Everyone else, frape and vandalism

Also, general privacy. There are just some completely harmless things I don't want them seeing out of nothing more than shyness.

I don't mind, but, I make it very clear that nothing they do is private. That every keystroke is logged, every website is filtered, all web traffic is logged. Not because im a dick and want to exploit anything, but, because I do a lot of testing, tinkering, modding, coding, etc and when i screw something up I like being able to undo it without a full restore from hourly backup. Normally this warning coupled with all the higher learning curve applications I use deter's other people from using my rig. Most everything is blocked and has to have permission to exit the network anyways, if my desktop locks due to inactivity it requires a 25 character alphanumeric password. I *might* need a tinfoil hat.. but with what I have seen and done as far as internet security and information being stolen, I prefer to be safe rather then sorry.

I generally don't care as long as they ask, but I can't stand when my brother or sister uses my PC mostly because they leave all sorts of stupid things running or mess with my FB account.

I don't let anyone else touch my computer. But if I had to, I wouldn't be worried, because they'd be on a guest account with no access to any of my files. If they somehow managed to get on my user account, my secondary hard drive where I keep data is encrypted with a password that is a random string of alphanumeric characters that I change according to a memorized list once a week. That same cycling list provides temporary passwords for websites, so if someone were to somehow figure out how to get into one thing, they'd still be locked out of everything else. There's really no reason for any of this except that I'm a privacy freak. If I could put a fingerprint lock and a retinal scanner on my PC and house, I would (yes, I realize these things exist, but they're a bit pricey).

Yes, I realize that I am now outed as incredibly paranoid. Better safe than sorry.

Technical difficulties and sabotage aside (I have odd friends), I'd have no issues.

Heck, my sister DOES use my computer when I'm not around. The only side effect is that I have to explain to my friends why I suddenly have barbie.com in my history.

I don't care If my parents or sister see anything on there, but I don't like them using it. I don't like anyone using my PC or phone.

4) Well, they might not like what they see if they poke around my well organized downloads folder, but I wouldn't care too much about what they saw.
