why does the series have to go forward in time each game? that would be lame.

The 3rd game could be set before the 1st, much more interesting time periods IMO.

one of the things that originally pulled me to AC1 is because of the medievil setting. hell set it in ancient rome or greece. WW2 FTL.
Because the Templar conspiracy wasn't around until Altair's time during the first game.

I still say that the third one is going to be set in present day. Especially now that I'm playing through the second one.

Why not the English Civil War? That could honestly rock quite hard.
Or, even better, that OTHER civil war... you know, the one with the violence, and spy rings, and slaver, and John Wilkes Booth... (<= Totally a ligitimate character to play as...)

It's not really universally celebrated.

And the set pieces would be...
Somewhat like arse.

where is this coming from like where have ubisoft hinted at a WW2 AC3 cus they only went forward like just over 300 years between altier and ezio so were looking at 18th century if they go forward another 300 that is. which is the french revolution so maybe ubisoft a french company will do a french AC3 with more annoying non english in-game script that u need subs 2 c what there saying >< and napoleon bonaparte could b in it roflol u also got Marie Antoinette you got the invention of the lighning rod by benjamin franklin and the steam engine (ohhhhhh train compartment assassination) the first synthesis of laughing gas (could b fun)steamboat's the discovery of the rosetta stone (maybe a msg about an eden piece could b written in it)and theres mozart not really sure what he could do but maybe like a cameo thing maybe one of ur targets is on some kind of steamboat cruise and mozart is playing on the boat dunno lol then again they were tiny. meh let me know about the WW2 thing :)

I honestly think another 300-year jump would be best, setting it around the late 1700's. Maybe slip out from Spain or Italy to the America's to bounce around New England (there's controversial "proof" of Templar influence around ares of New England as well, just for plot flavor) and throat-stab people.

Or they could just... you know... set it in Desmond's time and finish it. That would have my vote.

Nooooooo!!! I fucking hate WW2 settings! It's the reason I can't stand Call Of Duty games!

How about Medieval England? Maybe we could get to kill Henry VIII and all his whores? That would be sweet :)

Maybe the USA during the 1800's? Assassinating presidents would be nice.

The Mayan age?

Rome?

Feudal China?

Please. No. Fucking. World. Fucking. War. Two.

If they do this, I'm going to call down some serious Asguardian wrath. I understand that there is alot of potential here but I want to see one set in the present....future.....whatever time period they are in. I expected the 2nd one to be the present, not that it's bad or anything but i want to see what kind of assassin weapons Desmond can use. Not to mention what the outside world is like in the future.

Please not another WWII game.

I want to see one set in Victorian London, around the time of Jack the Ripper...

I can see this happening actually. If you've played ACII, you've seen that the Pieces of Eden played a huge role in the Second World War, so it would kind of make sense for us to go there and see what happened.

Now the question is this: Were the Nazi's Templars, or Assassins?
