Three months ago my friend's older brother got chain-whipped by a nasty biker who wanted a fight. 18 inch scar down his back.
Once, I threw a controller at my cousin and he got a small bruise.

That's just... What was he expecting? He thinks gamers are dangerous, then gets surprised when they react to demonstrate that their opinion is equally as strong as his.
There's no point in him saying "they have the right to make their opinion known through proper channels"; clearly they don't think he is getting the message. And he did make some very taunt-like statements.
He can either try to understand what makes people hate him so much, or continue his current stance out of determination aka spite.

Interesting. Biker Gangs. A demographic which hasn't been considered dangerous since the mid 80's at the very latest. Not to mention a demographic that my father and grandfather are both part of. You know what? I sincerely want to somehow get some sort of instant Australian citizenship just to vote against Atkinson in the next ellection, I really do. This is bull.
I say we find the most suave gamer on this site, have him court Atkinson's daughter, go steady for a few months or so to earn her trust, gradually start getting her to experiment, and finally mail him a video of his daughter getting fucked with a 360 controller. Conflict resolution!

Keep in mind Atkinson is a Christian, he believes the sun revolves around the Earth, it is only 6500 years old, children are innocent youngsters who are happy rolling a hoop down the street and that you can get a pack of chips, an ice cream and a soft drink all for 50 cents, with enough change for a newspaper and bus fare home.
