Audio Help: Youtube audio buzzing like chipmunks

This only happens on certain videos, but every now and then, the audio will be replaced with a hideous buzzing noise like there's a huge amount of feedback and the voices in the video will sound like they were run through a chipmunk filter. I've checked my audio drivers and they're up to date, but the problem persists. It's only on some videos, on others it works fine.

My guess its a codec issue.

-> Go to Run and type ?MSINFO32?.
-> Expand the Components
-> Expand Multimedia
-> Then check list of all codecs under audio and video to see if the status is ok.

I had a similar issue a long while ago, does it happen on multiple browsers, if you refresh the video, does it stay the same or go back to normal?

Stays the same. I've tried pulling out my headphones, but the laptop speakers themselves still make the buzzing sound.
