Aussie Govt Minister Mistakenly Likes Facebook Testicles

Social media claims another sneaky nuts victim.

Australian Education Minister Peter Collier has apologized for liking a Facebook photo of teenage testicles. Claiming it was a "silly mistake," Collier says his plight "obviously highlights the pitfalls of social media." Collier liked a shot of a 16-year-old Young Liberal apparently without realizing that the kid in question was playing sneaky nuts, a prank in which one person in a shot ruins the photo by secretly exposing themselves. The incident might have gone just as unnoticed as the nuts, had the teen not bragged on Twitter - to his 2,000 strong following - about fooling Collier.

"This is a man who is a senior minister in charge of the professional standards of dealing with young people and young people's use of social media," says Australian Labor Party's Sue Ellery, who is calling for an investigation. Sneaky nuts photo bombing has become a popular pastime in Australia, encouraged in part by an episode of comedian Chris Lilley's Angry Boys TV show, in which one of the characters demonstrates his technique.

Collier claims he wasn't aware of the sneaky nuts until a journalist from PerthNow pointed out the prankster.

Wait... "sneaky nuts", that's a thing?

Clearly I am out of touch with the youth of today.

EDIT: It occurs to me that an opportunity was missed to add some topically covert testicles to that coat of arms.

The children of this country taking part in this retarded game by no means represent the majority! Please do not assume "sneaky nuts" is actually a popular thing here! Most of us in this country do have common sense!

Whats even more balls to the walls retarded, is that there is so much attention for something that trivial. Surely that minister is not the only one who liked it.

But i thought planking was stupid, this takes it to a whole new level. Who is gonna put a loaded revolver in the mouth of some youngsters to teach them the dangers of memes. ?[sub][sub][sub][sub][sub]south park reference there. [/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]

Don't worry, everyone knows that kids do stupid stuff and that you shouldn't judge the mature part of a country by whatever they do. We judge countries by the vocal minority of stupid adults saying and doing stupid things.

OT: I can't help but thinking this prank kinda reminds of of that one episode of The Inbetweeners. At least the kids have a source of entertainment.

This is a new low for The Escapist. This isn't gaming news, this is tabloid sensationalism.

I'm disappointed, you guys are better than this.

So, is it indecent exposure or pedophilia?
Most definetly not pedophilia, but regarding indecent exposure, i am willing to bet this practice is just that.

Also, LOOOOL at people making a fuss about minimal nudity.

But possession of pictures on your hard drive on your computer that depict nude minors is a punishable offence. This person also actively liked a picture of a 16 year old's testicles, clearly they are a child predator just waiting to happen and should be arrested immediately and forever registered as a sex offender.

Same with people who have hentai of characters of undisclosed age but of suspiciously young form.

But yeah, totally indecent exposure. The minister has no reason to apologize.

I have to kindly disagree there.
Accidents happen and i believe it would be unfair to judge this person for a mistake unless it's proved that he's actually predating minors and wasn't just surfing the internet like we all do and saw something that might be illegal if it found that the person has records of said illegal thing on their computer.
And Anime is not real people they are drawings, a drawing of a child is NOT a child. I am sick and tired of people thinking that anime porn is a real thing and that it creates pedophiles somehow...That's completly backwards thinking, if a pedophile outlets his desires in a healthy way while staying away from actually doing anything to a child i find that possitive, if you want to prove me wrong, give me proof that Anime Porn CAN produce pedophilliac behaviour.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. I realize it doesn't translate very well and I feared it wouldn't.

Liking a picture with hidden testicles is not cause for a criminal investigation.

Oh...Sorry.

You really never know on the internet, i know the escapist has a moderately open minded and critical thinking community, but a few people that honestly have what i consider to be very narrow minded and 'draconian' thoughts about these kinds of subjects is a possibility.

I do have to say, i don't support pedophilia, but i want to be fair, critical and thoughtful about this issue...so that's that.
