Have you listened to Secret Chiefs 3? I consider their Book of Horizons album to be a "spiritual successor" to California (though sadly, no Mike Patton).

At the very least Faith No More will have a new album soon. Which I am very excited for.

I haven't given any Secret Chiefs 3 albums a listen yet, but I am interested in doing so for sure. I think I need to let California sink in a little more first, though.
