Back in my day, you were lucky if you knew how to read! People used to think that was witchcraft, I tell you. We didn't go to school to learn your newfangled reading and writing. The only lesson we learned in class was how to sit down and shut up. Once we knew how to do that, they sent us down to the coal mines, and that was especially dangerous, because none of us new how to read all of those 'Danger' signs.
