Bad Company 2 Gets DLC From Dr. Pepper

Though it really is hilarious how people blame these corporations for the shitty laws in their own shitty countries that force them to pay for DLC thats free in the U.S.

And which country is it exactly that forbids by law giving out free stuff?
Do please try to name one.

They're charging it because they want some money, simple as that, they're not charging in the US because Dr.Pepper already gave them money for it. So it's not really free in the US either, just someone else paid up for US players.

Regarding DLC itself, it's only cosmetic enhancements and does not effect the gameplay in any way, doesn't split the community nor will the people who get it have any advantage over people who don't. Which is the only kind of paid DLC that can be justified in my opinion.

Have you got a link? Less then a month ago DICE said they'll never charge PC users for addition content... unless they simply meant maps

Once again those of us in the UK are screwed over. It does get just a little bit annoying sometimes. They could at least give us something, i mean, its not like we don't drink our fair share of Dr Pepper

At least you get Dr. Pepper, there are only like 5 sodas out here in Poland. 7up, Pepsi, Coke,Sprite, Fanta.
It really chafes me because I won't get back to the states until July and the promotion will probably be over.

Even worse here in China. We have like 7up, Coke, Sprite, and some weird drink called Apple Sidra which is okay but probably illegal in the states. I get back in June to the states so thats better but my LIVE has been freaking out lately...

The one time I might be convinced to drink Dr Pepper...and I live in the wrong country. I have to pay to get it? Screw that...

Oh wait - its only camo gear? Something that I will never see, since its an FPS? Something that, if we're honest, is of no use in the game?

Why am I complainging then? If it was a new weapons pack, they yes, I'd be raging with anger. At the moment, I'm only annoyed that those 'who aren't US' have to pay.
