Yeah, the BAIT thing won't have people being chased like that, you are just reaching now. It is not like the monsters are real and are actually going to hurt people. People will just be running fast like a normal runner or someone that is late for something.

If I can set this to my less-than-perfect running/jogging ability, it could actually make me want to go outside for a jog every once in a while.

This really reminds me of Spoony's T.R.A.X. reviews. Also, nifty way of motivating someone for exercise. Wonder how it looks when someone ragequits in the middle of the street.

Honestly, this is an ingenious idea!

It gives people a better work out and gives them more thrills in day to day jogging life!

unless they like being eaten by monsters... or having heart atacks...

But I would buy it!

.. Well, damn. It would work - if it wouldn't sound like a random fucking music file being shot up your ear with some screaming and a robot talking now and than.

Make the sound 3D so you can hear behind you - in the distance, a monster, that comes closer and closer. Also, scrap those silly SFX sounds, they really don't fit except in a video game.

Also, knowing that it's just a music file will really prevent motivation - that is, running away from something, that doesn't exist anywhere.

Id really get into this. But sadly nowadays if you run full speed down the street for no reason, people stare. Whenever I do go outside (im a fatass) I sprint like a champ then get tired and go home.

This happens once a year. If I had this app id probably play it all the time. And get uber fit while im at it.

While it sounds a neat idea I'm more concerned about the premace of the game. What kind of ghostbusting organisation sends an agent into hell with a weapon that isn't charged and has to run a mile to work? Also BAIT is a stupid name. Who would take a job as a BAIT Agent? It's like joining F.E.A.R not a good sign. Also you'd be the butt of hundred of Masturbation jokes.

Which has been out on Android for quite some time now, about a year and a bit actually.

I'd like to see this combined with some sort of augmented reality stuff- turn around and see what you're running from. That would be wicked sweet.

I wonder if this game will include a ranking system based on how you do. I'd love to become a Master BAI-...

Actually, nevermind that.

Question: How many people playing this game are gonna get picked up by the cops?

Cop, "Where's the fire son?"
Kid, "Oh, I'm just running from radioactive monsters."
[awkward pause]
Cop, "You have the right to remain silent..."
I'm just wondering where you live that cops stop people for just running. Heck, if athletic people were arrested for running, the jails would be full of millions upon millions of people that run daily.

Hmm, this would be interesting, if I had technology to support it.
Sonic Doctor, I love your icon.

OT: Seems like an interesting idea, but the execution is flawed. Sounds like I could kick the game's bum just by hopping onto the train and going for a ride.

BAIT + Augmented reality lenses/goggles = AWESOME!!!

Yeah, I know, not going to happen just yet, but you have to admit that the possibilities are there...

That actually sounds kinda cool. I'd totally get that. If it was out. And I had a smartphone.
