Bald caps for facial hair?

If the stars align on the 13th day of the 13th year, and I lose a decent amount of weight, I was thinking of getting into cosplay. The problem is that most characters I want to cosplay are clean shaven.

As I don't want to lose my Van Dyck, is there some sort of bald cap for facial hair?

The cool thing about facial hair is that it grows back fairly quickly. But no, there isn't as far as google knows other than a joke video on youtube. I assume it's because unlike your scalp, your jaw moves a lot and constantly.

So yeah, shave or cosplay something with a goofy beard.

What you're looking for is a Wacaday Plaster. Don't get excited, this is a joke answer.

You could dye it the colour of your skin, make it blend in.

Fleshbeards are the creepiest thing though.

Yeah man, I think your best bet is to shave it. Unless you've got a truly glorious beard that's been handed down to you from the Viking warriors of Valhalla on high. Then just do your cosplay character but *with beard*

This is legitimately one of the weirdest questions I've ever seen on this forum.

I mean... how would that even work?

Pick a character that wears a mask, I did that with a few characters and you also end up with a cool mask.

Just do it with a beard. Personally, I'm more impressed by the effort than accuracy.

Did you see the thread where one guy asked for a way to damage his taste buds because he took the taste of food too seriously?

HOLY FUCK I just realized it's the OP of this thread

Hey Kyo, are you okay? What ever happened with that?

There are a lot of creative, and adventurous, people on Kickstarter. Figured someone would've found a way to, at least, potentially make it work (maybe extremely flexible plaster, or something like that).

That, or an existing invention found a use that way. Toilet paper and bubble wrap used, respectively, to be wrapping paper and wallpaper after all.

This is super off-topic, but are also the guy who was thinking of changing his legal name to "Darth Cruxis" a few years back? That's actually become a story I've told to friends and family over the years, it's kind of taken on a life of it's own. Anyways, I could be wrong, but if I'm not, I think we can officially crown you as the guy who asks the weirdest questions on the Escapist.

OT: No...Most people would love to see a Van Dyke perish, why would you fight so hard to keep yours? Beards are generally gross anyways, just go clean shaven.

I like to adopt Geralt of Rivia's stance on why to keep a beard, it adds to my dignity. Appreciate the input, but I'd rather not if possible.

Hey there! Why do you need a bald cap for facial hair? Van Dyke perish beard style is so cool. And , the cool thing about facial hair is they can grow quite fast, if you know the tricks and nuances to grow a one. There are many beard styles [https://www.beard-growth.com/beard-types-styles] one can sport according to the face shape like a goatee, a full beard, the Alan Rickman style, duck beard , etc. All in all beard do look good on anyone and should try once to grow out one.
