Batman Arkham Asylum Demo

I just finished playing the demo for Arkham Asylum and I must say.... I am looking forward to the full game. Anyone else download it? Any thoughts about the game?

note: The demo came out today for PSN, tomorrow for XBL.

Demo Review
Pros:

The combat is really fluid

Being able to play the game as a stealthy Batman or an "up-front" Batman

The voice acting is wonderful. (I can't tell who does the Joker's voice, but he's done it before. And the Warden's voice sounds familiar also. I know he played as the narrator on Fat Princess.)

Making guards terrified is very very satisfiying

Cons:

Not much that I disliked. The only thing I can think of is that when you go for a finishing blow during melee, it looks like your punches miss, and it would be more cool if there was a little blood. Since it uses the Unreal engine, bodies fall over very limply, and unrealistically.

Oh, and if you didn't know, Eidos is developing the game and they made: Tomb Raider, Hitman, Commandos, Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain, Thief, Timesplitters, and Fear Effect.

Hey Yahtzee might actually like it because Eidos made the Thief series.

I'm downloading the demo tomorrow. How's the stealth gameplay?

I think it is great. There are so many options.
Another problem I found was that the game has parts where melee only is used, then stealth in hallways, and stealth in large room. I hope it doesn't get that repetitive in the actually game.

That would be Mark Hamill, aka. luke skywalker. He did the joker for years on batman the animated series.

I played through it at a local BestBuy. I liked it a lot, but i felt that some of the combat could get to be a little repetitive. Definitely worth a rent, but maybe not worth my $60. We shall see when it comes out.

The voice acting is wonderful.

The voice for Batman is Kevin Conroy, who did the voice on the animated series as well. The show's writer, Paul Dini (who also had a great run on Detective Comics) wrote the game.
Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about it.

Mark Hamill is still the Joker?! I am very impressed and thoroughly happy!

The game looks fun, but it seems to follow the process of: Sneak - Brawl - Sneak - Brawl.

I hope not, or if so, so broken up with dialogue and story that it is hidden. But I'm still very hopeful for it.

I think the game allows for whatever style you enjoy, for me it was hanging down from the rafters to snatch up a victim. Makes me want AVP soon.
