Bear Spiders Mod for Skyrim

Just came across this interesting mod. If you're scared of spiders, use this mod by Luthien Anarion to turn them into bears!

Haha, I remember seeing this on Nexus a couple days ago. I remember going through the rather short list of mods for Skyrim, and one stood out. It said, "changes spiders into bears".

Can we get a tentacle bear mod while we're at it? I know the picture was actually a bear standing in front of a wooly mammoth, but come on; that would be one of the coolest things to ever show up in an Elder Scrolls game.

And a friend tells me her husband added an automatic spider to bear option in his game too.

Now I just need to animate a bear dropping from the ceiling like a spider or Mission Impossible.

Skinning a tentacle bear should aggro every tentacle bears
in a 40 yard radius. It makes sense, you are actually skinning their best friend.

In all seriousness though, I don't have skyrim but I frequent the nexus. Its fun to look at the changes and find out what the modding community deems needs "improvement"
from launch. If on Nov 12 I see a mod claiming to 'fix those horrible _____' then I get a better feel for what it will be like when I do get to play. At least one perspective of it. I'm sure we'll get our fill of mods that do nothing but make every inhabitant species in Skyrim, bears... and it will be awesome.

The whole point of the fear of spiders being a phobia is because there's no logical reason behind it. We're not scared that spiders are going to kill us or even attack us, they're absolutely harmless and yet we're just scared because they're there. As such an image of a spider can be just as scary as the real thing.

Personally the spiders in Skyrim terrify me. Previously I've had to watch my companions fight them from a distance and freak out everytime one comes near. I'm very grateful for this mod.

Dispite them beeing not real, some people can still get scared by it. Some people get the shivers at the mere though to them creeps.
Like the same way some people have trouble sleeping after seeing a horror movie.

If someone has an actual case of arachnophobia then just seeing spiders on a screen could easily send them into a fit because a phobia is more than just a small fear like most media portrays it as. People with a phobia can have anxiety attacks from the mere mention of something, so this mod could help someone out there who wants to play the game without having a nervous breakdown every 30 minutes. And if they have a phobia for both bears and spiders? Well then they're fucked and I hope they never see this picture:

In your case it's more the fear of getting stung because that can be dangerous to you but many people who have Arachnophobia, are even scared of looking at them. For example, my brother knows that those little spiders, which get inside the house sometimes, wouldn't ever be able to do anything to him. He still would never go anywhere near one of them. So it's not always the fear of getting hurt but just looking at them is problematic. He always has trouble playing games which have big spiders in them.

OT: I saw it a few days ago and I first wondered why they'd do that but when I realised what the reason is, I thought that it's a pretty neat idea.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas had Cazadors and Bloatflies.
And I also don't understand being scared of virtual spiders.

Well, then use that to get an even more intense experience! Killing something that actually scares you must feel awesome! I envy their opportunity!

It is so derpy, I know. This is what I get for a hysterical skype call with five people playing Skyrim. I don't even have the damn game yet!
Now if only I could get this travesty to move properly. Damn tentacles.
