Some of those old games really were that violent though. Anyone here remember Chiller. That was a sick bit of programming right there.
Chiller was very disturbing. Any game where you have to shoot the vice handle on the vice to crush a helpless person's head is really sick.
Yea, that's the level I first think of too; you could also shoot off pieces of flesh from the victim before crushing/cutting-off the head.

I was kind of hoping they would remake it for the wii.
Seriously though, how do you think they would rate a game like that; it came out long before game ratings: a simpler time, when parental controls consisted of a firm smack to the head.
