no matter how many times i see it, that controller still looks like the stupidest thing ever. SERIOUSLY, SONY, did you HAVE to make the controller look like a cheap $2 toy for children?

Personally, I think that the Move is hideously ugly. And with the giant ball on the end... it looks like a sex toy more than a game remote.
LOL! That's exactly what I thought when I saw it. "Uh...damn, that thing looks like a lady's massager."

Still going to get it, though.

Is it just me or does anyone else around here think that a motion control system controlled by glove like things a la minority report style be like the coolest way to do this?

I mean think about it, it could have the PlayStation eye to capture where you and your hands are in relation to the space around you etc and then controls and sensors on the glove to tell what position your hand is in so if your holding a gun in the game then you hold your hands as you would and pull in your trigger finger to fire etc.

This would rule no??

My main question is do you have to have the EyeCam thing to use it? I like the fact that it is just an additional controller to you system. Unlike the Wii which only has Wii remotes.

If you don't need the Eye to use it, then I think it looks pretty good.

But if you do, then I'm up in the air.

Good news for me who owns ever "current gen" platform except Wii (mainly because I have little/no interest in sports simulation games or motion gimmicks) as Nintendo will almost certainly give their console a price cut to remain competitive*.

Just in time for the new Zelda game :D

Hmm, say around 99 pounds sterling? 149 US Dollars? I'd buy it.

(*Or release a HD version but then the old SD version will drop in price so win either way)

Maybe MadCatz can come out with a non-gay version of the remote. Because that one looks hideous. If sony can copy Metroid Prime 3 gameplay with this thing but with flashy 1080 graphics then maybe I'll give ps3 a go.

I keep forgetting this also requires the EyeToy... Every time I think about the fact, I get a little more turned off from "Move".

And seeing the hideous controller design doesn't help. At least the Wiimote looks like a regular little remote. Sony managed to find a way to make people look even more stupid, waving colorful sex toys around in the air.

It seems I have to post what i posted in the Gamespot commentary eh...
ENOUGH!!!!!!! OF THIS NONSENSE
aaaargh
PSmove is what it is because Sony tried the NATAL way and it failed...epically....
so they decided that the gamer has to have something in his hand otherwise it's really unnatural.
So after years of testing they give us this! Don't you get it Sony has some experience in this they didn't improve the eyetoy because they saw it ain't good without a controller! BOTH are hyped but this hype actually has substance.
Oh, and if you think there will be nice games for NATAL
here's this- to cut costs M$ removed the processing unit from NATAL and so the XBOX handles the calculations for it. As you have probably already figured out this means lots of preoccupied CPU power ...So excpect WiiHD graphics but nowhere near PS3's Oh and if you think that's immersive think about
NATAL(or eyetoy if you may)+PSMove + 3D!
Now that's what I'm talkin bout you shorteyed americans!
You think Sony just happens to decide to put 3D????!!!!
They're going for virtual reality the f*ckers.
And I'm ready for it cuz it''s gonna be a helluva ride!
P.S.Shame on your English im Bulgarian ffs

Oh and sorry bout the flame i just see it as the only way to get my point to the stubborn b*sterds.
On a side note these are my first steps in this forum so be gentle *shame*
P.S.2D*mn Arc did sound better :(

Edit: The bundle will cost less than 100$(USD)
and will include:
EyeToy
Some family nonsense game compilation(bleh)
and 1or2(not confirmed yet) Move's (god that sounds funky)

On a side side note the Gladiator tech demo is what it's all about. If you haven't watched go NOW this will kick ass in Multiplayer.Yep, you heard me right MULTIPLAYER come on admit it shield bashing a living, breathing person is awesome. Plus it sounds like the perfect excersise for you lot.(I'll be waitin for ya in 2v2 with me trusty ol bow)

PlayStation Move... meh. That's one extremely bland name.
But descriptive!

All aboard the bandwagon that doesn't need to be jumped on, woo woo. Everyone one of those games looked painfully boring - or likely to be better played on a controller. I expect the same balls from Natal in a short while.

Actually, that's pretty much what Natal is supposed to be able to do.. just without the glove.

Yeh, i get that but personally when im gaming i like to have something physically there in my hands and i like to press buttons. The lack of anything there what so ever just feels a bit awkward to me so i think a glove type thing with pressable buttons on used in conjunction with motion control combines the best of both worlds so there's not really a conventional controller but there's not just thin air in front of you either.

If you get what i mean...

The Power Glove would like to have a word with you my friend.
That shameful device is probably the reason that we will NEVER have something like that ever again

I really don't get why people keep saying this...

It's like nobody has ever noticed that this

exists, or that it's equally possible to use one of these with a Wii. (and I own at least 3 Wii games that let you do so;)

Meanwhile, Playstation move...

Wow. That is one uninspiring promo...

Like a Wii only...

Well, nothing I can think of that's worth saying.
