Across The Universe I should think.

Helter Skelter is also good.
Across the Universe is good, but the best? I don't know, I'm very aware that this is a Your Mileage May Vary sort of situation, but I've become very partial to Don't Let Me Down.

I think we tried this one before, and deduced it was pretty much impossible.
For me (Arrghhh! its impossible) I'll just go for With a little help from my friends, followed by A Day in the Life.

Did they write "Here Comes the Sun"? Because if it is, that's definitely up there. But I really can't choose a best.

..Yep. On thinking about it again, for me the best Beatles song is Across the Universe, definitely.
Fair enough. As I said, Your Mileage May Vary.

Yep, they did. More specifically, I believe that song was written by George Harrison.

Something. I love that song. And this is probably the 4th time I've seen this topic, but because I love the Beatles, I let it slide.

real toughy... I'd say one song that's very hard to tire of is "Hey Jude".

Actually, no. It's too tough, they're just so good.

Probably their "best" (however you define that) would be Hey Jude. I like Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight though.

Wow, those are two very distinct sounds from the Beatles. But then again, my two favorites sound much different from one another, even if they are about the same subject (they are Something and Eight Days A Week). I love it how whenever anyone thinks of their favorite Beatles' songs, their favorites tend to be very different in sound. It's shows how good, and diverse they were as a band.

I think that alot of their White Album songs are great. Personally, I put it into catagories by the members:

John's would probobly be Across The Universe, Paul's The Long and Winding Road, George's While My Guitar Gently Wheeps, and Ringo's Good Night (Last song fom The White Album).
