Best Disturbed album

I really feel like buying some Disturbed, but don't really have the money for more than one album, so which would you recommend I get?

That would be The Sickness. Which is also what I'd go for.

I would say Indestructible, that one has some seriously good songs goin' on.

Their first 2 (The Sickness and Believe) are pretty amazing.

Anything after that just isn't as good.

The Sickness probably (yeah, I know, but it is the best one). I'm not a huge fan myself, but they're good if I'm in the mood and they have some huge nostalgia value to me. Also, prepare for the shitstorm headed this way from metal elitists.

I only have Indestructible and Ten Thousand Fists but I think the latter is better.

The best thing to do is to listen to some Disturbed songs on Youtube, note down the ones you like the most and see which albums they are in on Wikipedia. The album with the songs you like the most would be your choice.

Indestructible just for Inside the Fire. Or Ten Thousand Fists for Land of Confusion. Or Believe for Liberate. Really, all of their albums have one or two good songs and that's it. Just buy the songs separately.

Believe or Ten Thousand Fists. The Sickness didn't have many great songs on it, and Indestructible had even less.

You really can't go wrong with Disturbed. The albums are all similar enough to be familiar so you can really get into them from any point. I'm really liking Indestructible right now because of "The Night" and "Inside the Fire". They're all worth a listen.

Actually, the 10th Anniversary edition of The Sickness is out now so I'd recommend getting that as a starter.
