I dont really listen a lot to Punk music so i don't know what "good" punk would be, but Sum 41 is the only one that falls into the category of Punk and at the same time is a band i've bothered myself with.

Modern? Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards. It was started by one of the guys from Rancid, so they're similar, but more 'hardcore'.

And, as for a more classic band, I have to say the Dead Kennedys.

Sum 41

Well, Sum 41 is alot more pop-punk than punk-rock, but I can't really complain because they were the first punk-ish band I listened to.

Got to go for the Clash too, and the Dead Kennedys. Also loved the older work of the Offspring, rancid, 69 times the pain, refused.. I could go on.

Hmm, difficult choice. I think Operation Ivy are top for me. Closely followed by Bad Religion.

Other favourite bands are Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, Rancid, Anti-Flag, Death by Stereo, Rise Against, Strung Out and Break the Silence.

I have trouble naming the one and only however. Misfits, The Clash, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects, The Vandals, The Exploited..those are classics.
