Best song from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance?

So MGR pretty much has my favorite game OST of all time. Every song is just so damn hype.

Favorite has got to be the final boss theme though, IT HAS TO BE THIS WAYYYYYYYYYYY.

Followed by Hot Wind Blowing, that one's fab too.

It's hard, considering the whole soundtrack is great. Hot Wind Blowing and Sam's Theme are amazing of course, but my favourites have to be a battle between these two:


I just think the tune to Collective Consciousness is fucking cool as hell and the boss fight doesn't hurt as well. Not the best fight in the game but probably the most over the top and just really fun to play.
I'm My Own Master Now just has some really nice lyrics and as far as serious approaches to characters go in MGR Bladewolf is probably my favourite.

That being said Stains of Time has some of the most fun shredding and vocals I've heard in a game soundtrack for a while and is present during the shared First Place bossfight so it's hard to decide.

I think just for listening purposes it's Collective Consciousness, for listening to while playing something else or ingame context, Stains of Time takes the lead.

Collective Consciousness is cool as hell. In the parts of the fight where the lyrics kick in as your making you're way up EXCELSUS' legs, I always walk really slowly just to enjoy the music. Turns out there's no time limit for those bits so you can just stand there still and listen to the whole song if you want to!
