The problem is, that's EXACTLY what it means. It's NEVER, in all my years of gaming, meant a good thing.AlternatePFG said:Isn't that just what 99% of devs say anyways?
Anyway, hopefully this doesn't mean "the PC version will be a shit port". Cause that would suck.
Given the attitude of the people in the News Room comments section you would think there wasn't a single mod developed since 2005.MiracleOfSound said:PC gamers will get all the cool mods, so ultimately they'll end up with the better game.
Let's just hope it runs great on all platforms.
I'm guessing this is what it means.AlternatePFG said:Isn't that just what 99% of devs say anyways?

Is it really? I mean does it really matter which platform is the MAIN one, so long as it's still coming out on the platform you wanted to play it on? Seriously why is stuff like this always taken as a personal betrayal? All it means is that Bethesda wants as many people to be able to enjoy the game as possible, which can only be a good thing, so make it with consoles in mind first because it's just so much easier to then adapt it to PC's than it is to adapt a PC game for consoles.xXxJessicaxXx said:I'm trying to be positive and think that translates to 'The ui won't be overly complex and horrible' but I think it's a little bit of a kick in the teeth to the original fans of the series perhaps.
The majority of PC gamers I have spoken to hated the way that Oblivion had been dumbed down for consoles in comparison to morrowind, and now we've been told that skyrim will be dumbed down again. I don't think it's fair to say people are getting "worked up over nothing".danintexas said:As I posted in another thread. Did you guys totally miss Oblivion? Look at the interface. The lock picking game. Making pots... everything about it.
It was made for console. Does that mean the PC version sucked?
Me thinks you guys are getting a bit worked up over nothing.
