If you want a long fulfilling RPG/TPS with a great in depth story, go for mass effect (just don't get sucked in too deep, you actually pay money for the sequel).Tootmania said:Basically, I'm yearnin' fer a new game to play. But I was wondering which game you all preferred more? Bioshock 1 or Mass Effect 1?
I'm asking about these two specifically because I don't really know if my comp could handle the sequels, and I'm not even sure that it can play these as well.
The weird thing is, I checked the requirements on the site CanYouRunIt.com [http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/intro.aspx], and it says the exact same thing about Oblivion, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect, and Bioshock. It says that everything checks out EXCEPT that I shouldn't be using a Mobel Intel 4 Chipset family thingie. But my comp runs both Oblivion (VERY well I might add) and runs Left 4 Dead 2 decently enough, but it was completely incompatible with Fallout 3.
So I just wanted ya'lls opinion on the subject. Should I just not take a chance, and save myself 20 bucks? Or should I try getting one of the games? And if so, which one would you recommend, Bioshock 1 or Mass Effect 1?
EDIT:: THIS IS NOT A VERSUS THREAD!
There... Now you know...
Bioshock 2 I understand, but Mass Effect 2 shouldn't have been made? You, sir, are out of your mind! (this isn't a flamepost, Mass Effect always was a trilogy).Daedalus1942 said:If you want a mindless romp through an underwater paradise turned hell with genetic splicing and creepy little girls with severe daddy issues, then go for Bioshock. Yes, but they absolutely gutted everything about the first game.JeanLuc761 said:Bioshock 2 I understand, but Mass Effect 2 shouldn't have been made? You, sir, are out of your mind! Steam has the Bioshock demo, I don't think they have the Mass Effect demo, but it's worth a look.Tootmania said:That sounds like a neat idea! Where can I find the demos for this stuff?ultrachicken said:I'd say download the bioshock demo to see if it will run on your computer, just to be safe. I'm not sure about a mass effect demo, but if you can run that it will give you more hours of play before you get bored.
Thank you Mr. Shepard. Your input means a great deal, both to me, and like, you know, that one man thats really illusive and that Human Galactic Federation thingie or whatever... or something...Brad Shepard said:i love em both, but im going to have to go mass effect
