I made an interesting discovery today.
I was on x360a [www.xbox360achievements.org] a few minutes ago trying to find the "optimal" path for completing your teammates' personal missions when I cam across a thread talking about custom Sheps. Turns out, most people prefer to use default John for one of two reasons: either a) they feel obligated to the developers to use the default model "that's been so carefully crafted fir us", or b) they don't have the patience to fine-tune the assorted sliders.
I say fuck all that. I will happily spend another 3 or so hours playing with the sliders to make sure my character is one I can truly call mine. Did it with the first ME, did it in Dragon Age, hell, I even did it non-BioWare games like SR2 and Fallout 3. The developers gave me a chance to "create my own, special, unique character". Goddamn right I'm gonna take advantage of the option.
