I'm pretty indifferent, and it's not going to affect my custom FemShep, but I will be really amused if the name GingerShep ends up sticking, which it seems to be doing a decent job of so far.

I wish BioWare had just stuck to their guns and made the damn decision themselves. Speaking as a FemShep fan, their attempts to win people over with a beauty pageant doesn't exactly garner any respect from myself.

Yeah, it is getting kind of silly, but a lot of the fans seem to like feeling involved, and it's a great marketing opportunity. Even the people who hate it or think it's stupid are talking about it, after all. From that point of view, it's already been a huge success.

Also, it'd be nice if they could maybe patch ME1 and ME2 to include the new FemShep. I mean, it'd be kind of disappointing if the ONLY way to play as her would be to start a new game in ME3.

That's a very good point, too. Having a new pseudo-canon main character option for a series that carries that character through from the beginning of the first game to the end of the last one would make a lot more sense if that option were retroactively made available from the beginning...

although the whole thing is starting to seem a little silly. I can understand that BioWare wants to give fans what they want, but it's not like hair color is particularly hard to change in Mass Effect.

I thought that as well. I'm hoping that she looks a little older in the game.

She looks like some kind of super manly lesbian (you know, the kind you see with short cut hair who are kind of muscly and try too hard to act like guys) and that's NOT a good thing. She's fucking ugly now, why didn't they just leave her the way she was? I swear to god my Femshep better look the same come ME 3 or I will be so fucking pissed off.

Where you getting short hair from? The hair I see in the pictures is down to/laying on the shoulders. Her hair in this is longer than any of the ones from the last vote. Her hair is actually longer than the hair of the previous default femshep from 1&2.

This was definitely the best form the last set for voting.
