The only problem I had with the PS3 demo was, unfortunately, a game breaker for me: the text was virtually unreadable. Maybe it was the demo, maybe it was my TV, but I stopped wanting it after trying the demo. Maybe I'll check it out after the official release.

If the comic doesn't have 5 minutes dedicated to Conrad Verner, the port is officially garbage. It's science.

I have it on 360 and i don't see what the problem is.

As far as i see it the more people who can play the game the better. I was telling one of my friends how awesome it was but he couldn't play it 'cause he only has a PS3.

And as for the fact they're making it better for PS3 user's, well obviously they've got to give them as reason to buy it considering it's out a year after PC & 360 versions. Also i think that the port will give them time to work with the newer engine in which ME3 is going to be made with.

Oh and Microsoft published ME1 which explains why they're not porting that across.

Nice one Bioware.

Now how about you stop pissing off your 360 fanboys, release a patch that makes our version of the game that we paid full fucking retail price for look better, fix some of the (many, many) glitches, generally make it into the better game you outright fucking admitted was being made for PS3.

That's what pisses me off. Bioware actually came out and admitted that the PS3 version would be better, and fix things that still haven't been fixed on the 360 version. If it weren't for the legions of fans who bought 1 and 2 you wouldn't even be able to release this version for the PS3, so how about throwing us a fucking bone instead of grubbing after more money like the corporate whores we were all trying to pretend you weren't for a moment.

Fuck all videogame developers, because they all suck.
You paid full price for the game last year. PS3 owners had to wait a year to get their version. So what if it's better? After a year of development time, it better be. The only difference is graphics, and some extra content (which isn't even exclusive, 360/PC owners have had access to them for several months). If you're THAT interested in them just get it on the PS3 when it comes out. Or better yet, get it on PC.

I can't get over how fucking good this series is. Mass Effect 3 will be the trilogy of our generation. Our Star Wars.
The best part is that there's still 89 years left in this century.

Seriously, guys?
Just be happy that more people get to play a great game. I don't know why some people get off on being the "first fans" and love for people to be excluded. I know I'm happy for the people who haven't been able to play it yet.
As am I. The irritation stems from the fact that they could have also announced a GOTY edition for the other two platforms that included the same features, especially as it wouldn't be that hard to do so.

Instead they are focused on simply drawing in the PS3 crowd while seemingly ignoring those who have been fans for years.

I personally don't buy into this "We Xbox and PC owners made you what you are" line of argument, because I imagine that if ME1 had been released on the PS3 originally then it would have been a hit; it's not exactly the PS3 owners fault they couldn't play it, and it's not a fair argument to claim they should buy a new console for two games only.

Personally I am pleased they now get to play such a fantastic series, all I want Bioware to do is release that comic for the Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. I want to have multiple characters to bring into Mass Effect 3, and the comic would allow me to save time rather than going through Mass Effect 1 for what must be the 7th time at least.

If Gears of War 3 gets announced for the PS3 then I am converting, as it is quite literally the only exclusive (now) that is making me keep my Xbox.

It's not that I'm mad that they're porting to the PS3. That aspect on its own is an infinetly good thing. It's that they're making the PS3 version better without doing a thing for the 360 and PC version. As I said in my raging, they could easily make a Game of the Year edition for all platforms rather than just giving one group of people the better version while leaving everyone else on the side of the game-developing road.
Not doing a thing for the PC Version? Every time a new DLC comes out, they release a Patch which fixes some of the games bugs. Same for the 360.

Nice one Bioware.

Are Bioware offering a new patch entirely free or monies in recompense to people who didn't play the experience at the best it could be? No? Then my 'fuck you' stands.
first of all you dont know weather or not a patch is going to be released or not so your bitching about it too soon, 2nd every person on the website whose a elder scrolls fan or a fallout fan sees your complaining about the minor nothing glitches in ME2 and laughs to themselves. Bioware is trying to convince people they have negleted for years to buy a game and I dont think they care about your complaining as they already have your money,
Thats the point he was trying to make before that they should care about those they sell the product to its a standard of business to have a fully functional product from company to its user.

The comic doesn't mention Conrad at all, and it never talks about the Geth.

Trust me, the comic is garbage.

The text is quite readable on my TV, on the release version. The demo really didn't do the game justice, which I find strange, BioWare putting out an outdated demo with unpolished graphics...

A comic about Mass Effect 1 never talks about the Geth...?!

You have no idea how dumbfounded I was.

You can watch the entire comic on youtube, it's officially been released. It's...well, it doesn't do a good job at all.

I'm happy PS3 owners get to play it, but it does kinda feel like a kick in the nuts that we had to pay all the stuff they're being given free, and that the game doesn't look as nice on our version.

I hope ME3 is released simultaneously on all platforms and is exactly the same on each.

This does feel like a slap in the face. I'm sure they could justify a GOTY edition and release it on all platforms.

I won't get upset about the "improved visuals" until I actually see the final version. Of everything I've seen so far, including the PS3 demo, the PC version still far outpaces the other two versions, though the Xbox version looks better than PS3.

The 360 fanboyism in this thread is atrocious.

You want to know what you guys get over the PS3 owners? You got it a year earlier AND you get the experience of the first game. Stop your bitching and be happy with what you have. The PS3 owners still have to pay full price for the game and are late to the party. I played through the 360 ME1 ages ago and am buying ME2 on the PS3 sometime down the road, I might not have played it otherwise if it weren't for this as my 360 access is very limited.

This is another one of those cases where some gamers have huge entitlement issues. I remember awhile back on here when the Borderlands GOTY edition was announced and the people who already owned the game and all the DLC's seemed to be waiting for free gifts. Same as this case, they got it a year early and have already experienced all of it.

They don't owe you anything, just enjoy your games.

Does this seem like a warning light? Don't worry it will look even better than the demo. this seems very reminiscent of . Anyway as long as bioware keeps focus on what is important.
