Bring down the Sky was free DLC, you're thinking of the Pinnacle station DLC.

Smart Money says she's going to hang out in the Port-side observation deck. It's the only place on the ship you can't currently go.
Bring down the sky was so free that I had to pay for it? That's strange.
It was free for the PC but the Xbox 360 version had a price, if that clears up any confusion.

I think I'll start saving up the DLCs for a few months, then hit this, the Hammerhead missions and whatever else comes out in one big go. The missions in Mass Effect 2 are always really short and I'd rather revisit it with at least a couple of hours worth of fresh content.

This was pretty much my plan, I'm saving up my replay for when I have the game padded with some nice extra content. On my first play through I didn't even have the Zaeed DLC.

I'm looking forward to this, any excuse to play through ME2 again is good enough for me. Provided it isn't outrageously price of course.

Pay for DLC when I have the Cerberus Network Card? No. I don't want to pay for it, I thought the Cerberus Card was to get free DLC.
Oh, who am I kidding, I'm most likely going to buy this.
We already got several free DLCs. After 2 or 3 months, a paid one, for $10 and from Bioware... I'm all for it.

Where's she gonna stay? Don't think my Normandy has any spare rooms left o_O

Though I do have a needlessly large bed in my quarters, I suppose.

Dunno if I'm going to spring for it. Have to see everything in it first. Loving all the free stuff though.

So long as she's better than Zaeed I'm happy.

You still have the port observatiory. She could probably stay there.

One of the observation rooms, port I believe, is still unused. I always figured they'd bring Liara back through DLC but I guess that was too much to hope for.

That said, unless it'll be priced at 1500 BioWare points like Shale, I'll definitely getting it. While all previous paid DLC point to it being mediocre at best, I'm willing to be optimistic when BioWare's involved. Hell, Shale was awesome, so here's hoping.

Edit: Argh, ninja'd.

Nah. Bioware's paid DLC has a rep for sucking. No way I'm getting this.

Bring Down the Sky,
Hey, that one was pretty good. It was just overpriced is all.

Do not want, nor do I care. Any game which makes over £100 million, then asks you to buy more from it is being overly greedy. I'll stick to the freebies thanks until they invent a better character than Mordin.

Generic DLC rant not specific to Bioware or Mass Effect 2.

DLC sucks and here is why; either the original game is large and satisfying enough without it and the extra "stuff" is superfluous, or the original game is too small and the dlc should have been included on the disk.

Its ironic but the best DLC really is horse armor. Something that doesn't affect gameplay but gives the opportunity for people with more money than sense to contribute to the company.

For an example of good "dlc" see Baldur's Gate Tales of the Sword Coast: [link]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baldur%27s_Gate:_Tales_of_the_Sword_Coast[/link]

1. in addition to the side quests the expansion also included interface and balancing enhancements
2. the end fight was re-balanced for the new content so the story was still contiguous
3. 20-30 hours of gameplay!

Modern dlc is just not a good value for the gamer's dollar.

I bought pinnacle station and was SOOO disappointed. A terrible waste of money it was. I am not buying this one unless someone tells me it is really, really, reallllly awesomely good.
