Cuter still, you believe that you and you alone will even make a sizable difference.
Except it's not just me. It's quite a bunch of folks...

It's good to know that they are turning in to Zynga all on their own.
That, or Activision makes them lie. It's not like they haven't done that before.

Well, Blizzard are hardly going to say "We hate Activision. They ruin everything and we don't like what they're doing!". So I never take these forms of announcements seriously.

It's still not enough.
You're right... I mean... it's just a bunch of hardcore gamers versus a company that can afford a $200 Million marketing budget for a C-grade FPS that cost $50 Million to make.

But really, it's the principle. All I can do is pledge that my money will not go towards supporting Koticks reshaping of the industry.

And next up, Blizzard will start blaming Activision for the RealID fiasco. Then again I wouldn't be surprised. Anything to let the gibbering fanboy masses feel validated for defending things like $150 for the full Starcraft II experience

I have no doubt that Blizzard will keep making good games, only problem is now the makes you pay for the game in 3 parts so that instead of one $50 game they make you buy that same game for $120-$140($60 for the first part then $30-$40 for the other two).

Well, then Blizzard has changed by itself. Just look at the facts:

RealID (dropped "for now")
Region-locked SC2 servers
Little to no community support in battle.net (no chat rooms, no clan support, crappy friends list etc...)
No LAN-support for SC2
It's an enormous hassle to play SC2 without an internet connection, ala Ubisoft DRM-lite

While playing SC2, I find the same impeccable quality, humor and enjoyment that I do in all games from Blizzard, so I do not doubt for a second that their development process remains unchanged. However, all of the bullshit which has been tacked on speaks volumes: Blizzard is a cash-cow, and all future products will be subjected to as much corporate nonsense and milking as possible without hampering sales. Blizzard made bucketloads of money before being owned by Activision, but they didn't start dealing in nonsense until recently.

No, we can say this when they start attempting new IP...until then they are marking time.

*cough* Bullshit *cough*. It's pretty well documented that the whole Real ID concept was loathed wholesale by Blizzard and it was Activision's idea. Also it's Activision's influence that jacked the price of SC2 up from $50 to $60 as well as keeping battle.net region locked. It also wouldn't surprise me if it was Activision that moved to split SC2 into 3 (I'm sure equally priced) games.

So no sir, I will not hang up my conspiracy hat. Activision may not be raping Blizzard against the water cooler like they are the Call of Duty people, but they sure stick their thumb in Blizzard's ass now and then just so they know who's boss.
